He also appeared in more than 30 movies including Yuma, Westward Ho The Wagons, The Wild Country and The Great Locomotive Chase.

Malcolm "Mac" Wiseman played bass in Molly O'Day's band in the mid-1940s, then joined Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs in the Foggy Mountain Boys. Wiseman also played with Bill Monroe & His Blue Grass Boys and recorded solo. His version of The Ballad Of Davy Crockett was a #10 country hit in 1955 and he reached #5 with Jimmy Brown The Newsboy in 1959. Among his other hits: Crazy Blues, Keep On The Sunny Side, Your Best Friend & Me and Got Leavin' On Her Mind.

The Munsters (1964-66) featured a family of monsters whose niece, Marilyn, was an outcast because she was the only "normal" member of the family. After 13 episodes, Owen got married and left the series and Pat Priest became the new Marilyn.

Anderson recorded one album with The Glove, a band that included The Cure's Robert Smith, and became The Cure's drummer in 1983 after Lol Tolhurst switched from drums to keyboards. Anderson played on the albums Japanese Whispers, The Top and Concert and the singles Love Cats and The Caterpillar.

Speaking of which, her real name was Ruth Browser, she was born in Brooklyn and her Beverly Hillbillies character was Edythe Brewster. I wonder if she ever owned a BB gun.

Born in Berlin, Previn moved to Los Angeles with his family in 1939. (Previn's great-uncle was a music director at Universal Pictures.) Previn, a pianist, began working at MGM Studios in 1946. He composed and conducted the scores for Bad Day At Black Rock, Elmer Gantry, Inside Daisy Clover and many other films. He adapted the music for Gigi, Kismet, Kiss Me Kate, Porgy & Bess, My Fair Lady, Paint Your Wagon, Thoroughly Modern Millie and several other movie musicals. Previn also recorded more than 500 albums. Whew! He won four Academy Awards and 11 Grammy Awards, including one for Lifetime Achievement.
