Alto sax player Paul Desmond died in 1977, drummer Joe Morello died in 2011 and pianist Brubeck died in 2012. Wright also played on albums by Gene Ammons, Cal Tjader, Sonny Stitt, Buddy DeFranco, Carmen McRae and many others.
