His remake of Tex Williams' 1947 hit Smoke! Smoke! Smoke! (That Cigarette), which was written by Travis and Williams, featured impersonations of John Wayne, Johnny Cash, Walter Brennan, Jimmy Stewart, Paul Lynde, Truman Capote, Gomer Pyle, Archie Bunker and others.
