On January 20, 2025, Donald Trump – thanks to Retrumplicans regaining control of the House and Senate and the Supreme Court granting him Presidential immunity – will become a king and a dictator with no one to oppose him. He plans to deport 11,000,000 undocumented immigrants; abolish the Department of Education; roll black clean-air, clean-water and fuel-efficiency standards, pull the United States out of NATO and the Paris Climate Accord; impose tariffs that Americans will wind up paying for; and use the Department of Justice to go after his perceived enemies.

Donald Trump does not care about experience or qualifications. His only criterion for his Cabinet members, officers, aides and advisers is loyalty – or, as former National Security Advisor John Bolton put it, "fealty," referring to the swearing of unwavering allegiance to a feudal lord or leader.

J.D. Vance, Trump's Vice President, is opposed to abortion, gay rights, same-sex marriage and American military aid to Ukraine. He referred to women without children as "childless cat ladies" and claimed Haitian immigrants are stealing people's dogs and cats and eating them.

Trump wants Matt Gaetz, who has often called the Department of Justice "weaponized" and "politicized," to be Attorney General. Trump wants Fox television host Pete Hegseth to be Secretary of Defense. Trump has chosen Kremlin apologist Tulsi Gabbard to be director of intelligence. Trump has picked anti-vaxxer and conspiracy theorist Robert Kennedy Jr. to head the Department of Health & Human Services. Trump has chosen multi-billionaire Elon Musk and Roivant Sciences healthcare company founder Vivek Ramaswamy to head his proposed Department Of Government Efficiency.

Trump has named Tom Homan, a former border patrol agent and acting director of Immigration & Customs Enforcement, as his "border czar." Homan will implement Trump's plans for "mass deportations." He will conduct "workplace raids" and round up undocumented workers. He vowed that families will not be separated. If an undocumented immigrant is married to a United States citizen, he will deport them both. Of course that is not legal – but Trump will not care.

Trump wants John Ratcliffe, former Director of National Intelligence, to head the Central Intelligence Agency. In 2016, Vladimir Putin set up "troll farms" to ensure Trump got elected President. Russians created thousands of phony accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media sites and posted pro-Trump, anti-Clinton propaganda. Eighteen United States intelligence agencies unanimously concluded that Russia interfered in our Presidential election. Trump, Putin's number-one fan, rejected the findings, declaring, "Putin said he didn't do it and I believe him." Ratcliffe sided with Trump.

The world is bracing for the reign of King Donald the First.

I think Trump will also try to make big cuts to Medicare, Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act and ban insurance companies from paying for contraceptives and transgender surgery.

One of Donald Trump's mantras – along with "Make America hate again" and "Make America white again" – is "Drill, baby, drill!" Trump believes global warming is a hoax and he wants the United States to become dependent upon coal and fossil fuels. Trump will weaken the Environmental Protection Agency (and possibly move it out of Washington DC), repeal environmental regulations, abolish clean-energy tax credits and open up federal lands to oil drilling. For Energy secretary, Trump picked someone who will help lead our nation out of the 21st century and back to 1840.

The mission of the Department of Defense, according to its website, is "to provide the military forces needed to deter war and ensure our nation's security." President Trump will change that. Their new mission will be to serve him and obey him and help him carry out his plan to depoort 11,000,000 immigrants.

Gaetz left Congress and withdrew as Trump's nominee for Attorney General. Retrumplicans are opposed to the release of the findings of a House Ethics Committee investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against Gaetz. That is puzzling.
