Good morning everyone.
Let's hope for another profitable week and a stabalized or rising share price.
Cheers!
Steady climb to .6 this week! Have to be positive. :)
morning boys & Julie . . morning pluc . .
Well Good Morning everyone, looks like i didn't really miss much i didn't already expect with CC,so lets see where this PIG is going to head now?LOL.
This paragraph from 2Q report says it all for me,if they are FCF even they can pay for everything needed from now on...
SIRIUS XM now expects to achieve over $400 million in 2009 adjusted income from operations. This is an increase from the company's previous guidance of over $350 million in 2009 adjusted income from operations provided on May 7, 2009.
BALANCE SHEET IMPROVEMENTS
During the second quarter the company made improvements to its balance sheet including refinancing some of its debt at lower rates, extending maturities, and improving amortization schedules and covenants.
"These transactions have significantly improved the credit profile of the company, and we intend to be opportunistic in pursuing additional balance sheet improvements," said David Frear, SIRIUS XM's EVP and CFO.
Based upon the company's current plans, it has sufficient cash, cash equivalents, available borrowings under credit facilities and marketable securities to cover the company's estimated funding needs through cash flow breakeven, the point at which revenues are sufficient to fund expected operating expenses, capital expenditures, working capital requirements, interest payments and taxes. The company's projections are based on assumptions, which it believes are reasonable but contain uncertainties.
This paragraph tells me that GAAP losses are over going forward and GAAP PROFIT is coming..
is "$.48" the new "$.38"
time will tell pluc . . .
.49, up a half penny!
damn it Irish . . I was just ready to log out and get some real work done today when your post popped up . . this is exactly what I was screaming all last week while you were taking in the rays in NW
big-bad-john is on the record that we need $475-$500 to make it happen . . looks like that could happen . . just have to watch-out for higher front-end costs on the OEM ramp-up . . could be a short term drag on EBITDA . .
p.s. I do like Tylers take on Audiovox (see main page); anybody else thinking about it??
would'a been nice to have jumped in on Liberty when the Investment Agreement was announced . . . ya snooze ya loose.
Good Morning everyone, :sunny:
Hoping to buy additional shares from my small (very small) ;)
sell last week. Put in a buy at .46, a dime less than my
sell. Someone told me a good anology about a dime, so
I"m not going to be greedy. I'll be really happy with
1,000 additional shares. :)
Enjoy this beautiful day,
Julie
Welcome back Johnny. :)
.50 and going up????
I called for well over $500 mil Ebitda about 2 months ago when royalty fee was announced,as it will directly add to bottom line, but John homer and myself disagree a little on how many will actually pay what, with long term plans not paying and we don't know how many second and 3rd subs their are..I had it conservatively at 250 mil a year..that is with current 15.4 mil self pays, everyone we add now pays it..
Think john is right about his EBITDA numbers tho.
Roadkill,
I took about a half hour of study on Audiovox. It does look good in the long run. So, I jumped in a few minutes ago at 7.18
There are SO many places to put your cash out there. It's nice when somebody plants a seed for you to think about every now and then.
This company is so wide spread. It's not just Sirrius, but it's the whole auto industry. And it's a few big name brands in the home entertainment field too.
When consumer spending picks up again, it could turn into a good prospect.
Hi Johnny,
Glad you had a good time. I imagine you had a lot of catching
up to do, being you were away from this board for so long. :D
Trading. Who would have thunk it. I know, I am nervous,
first time and all. I hope I'm not stuck. It looks like the price
is going up, instead of down to .46  Maybe I need
to rethink my limit. Do you think it will go down at all? Or is that
a stupid question. Oh, so hard!!
Julie
new GM cars to be sold on ebay through Sept . . . California customers only?
Total debt and long term debt are lower than they were five years ago, actually total debt is lower than two years ago. The stock was trading 50% - 100% higher than it is now.
It does smell a little like new money in the long run.
I feel better about a company that is spread across the entertainment spectrum like this, rather than a company that is only in one segment. In other words it's not just cars, but it's also a home entertainment company.
Sirrius will really boom when they figure out how to be a home entertainment source and not just primarily in the car.
