Ok, this will become a weekly thread rather than a daily thread. I guess there just isnt the demand for off topic chat when it is actually ALLOWED. **sigh**

I just think everyone needed to vent a little. It's out of their system for a few days but we'll see.
So where is everybodies line? Or do you have one? If a bank made you tell them your occupation before giving you over $10000 in cash, from your account, would you do it? If you refused, they would not release your money to you in cash form.
relmar, My favorite is when they want to try and charge you for a certified check. I just tell them no thanks, if you are going to charge me I'll just take that in cash. See how fast they are willing to just give you the certified check for free.
P.S. I sorry I thought you wrote 100,000 not 10,000 they will give you that amount in cash.
Yes, they will give you 10k. But not without asking you what your profession is. It was a "trick" question actually. I was already asked this same thing for 10k. It was my line. No right to ask me my profession, for removing MY FUNDS. In any form I want. Cash, last time I checked, was legal to own. :) LOL Banks are getting wayyyyyyyyyyy to powerful. And they will only get worse. Wait till you CANT get cash out, over 5k. Its coming.....
my Dad wont let me play the wii.

You guys are funny, okay here I am just incase Siri is an off topic that we may come across:)! Gina
wow im watching o'reilly and he is actually saying good things about obama, wow i think im gonna cry im so happy.
Relmor,
You are going to find this extremely funny but I work at a bank.
Yes, if I am giving you $10,000 in cash, even out of your own
account, we would request that information for a Large Currency Transaction
report. This is so our government is aware of everything you are
doing. If you're interested I'll check at work to see when that was
first implimented, I not sure. And a good way to get out of paying for
a cashiers check is to request your money in cash. It's easier for us to
give you a check no charge.
Julie
John was correct when he said request it in cash= free cashiers check
Julietoo: Up late and making nice to Relmor?
Julie: CTR ( Currency transaction reports) go back to at least 1993.
Along the same lines, when a wire hits from out of the country I get a call from the bank asking me to describe why the money was sent to my attorney trust account
Yes, I guess I was being nice. :) Thanks for the info on the year.
I know it's been several years since they first implimented that.
Julie
Obama is a disaster for this country. Anyone who believes in free market should be scared.
Did anybody here this line on CNBC last night?
"Next congress may nationalize Parker Brothers to get their hand on all the monopoly money."
I thought that was a good one. Maybe the Chinese will take it in exchange for some of our debt.
No hes not. Hes extremely successful so far. Hes becoming more successful already than Bush. Obama is getting his agenda in a lot faster, thats why. And its the agenda the American people wanted. Just like Bush gave us the agenda the American people wanted at that time.(2nd term). People may have been duped the first time they voted for Bush, but come on, the 2nd term they got more of the same. Huge government deficit spending(check), paranoid international policies(check), alienate the world political system(check), destroy our civil liberties(check).
Obama promised health care for us all, and strong unions, and green energy spending. Also promised to throw money at the economic problem(check, check, and check). I dont understand the problem? Both are EXTREMELY successfull presidents. Now if you want to debate whether these policies are sound or not, thats another story. But please dont say hes not successful, hes been extremely successful so far.
