GM announcing the resignation of their CEO. Will Chrystler be forced to do the same?
I really liked Brandon's article on technical indicators. Should be an interesting week. 0.63 is the target, huh? I would like to hit that this week. =)
Bailout denied. Chrysler has 30 days to reach an agreement with Fiat or
got bankrupt. GM has 60 (?) days to create a better plan or go Bankrupt.
Wow. What does this all mean for Sirius. I believe the stock will head down tomorrow.

60 days for GM, should not be a problem. Chrysler, who knows!! Why in the hell would fiat even go near Chrysler is beyond me!! Waggoner stepping down could drive sp lower tomorrow due to uncertainty of direction of GM. Doubt that they will be allowed to go BK now. Probably should have gone BK 6 months ago.
GM is too big to go bankrupt. It has hundreds if not thousands of suppliers.
Of course the government could take over the company and in 10 years we will all be driving Yugos.
(They may be red but they won't be turbocharged)<G>
The govt probably couldnt do any worse than the car companies have.
After all they are essentially bankrupt. They just plain failed to see the
writing on the wall during these past years. If I saw it how came they couldn't.
The government couldn't hit their asses with ping pong paddles! This current government hates Wall Street. It wants government, not free market.
I cannot believe that Unions expect the same treatment for wages; healthcare, the waiting pool like before. In economic times like this they can sacrifice also, like being grateful for just having a job.
Unions are not market friendly! The Obama administration is NOT investor friendly.
The people now need to invest in the market and drive the government out.

There was just a thread called "Bad News" that referred to a new Business Week article on Sirius. I was reading it and it was removed. Why?
The article is at http://www.businessweek.com/technolo...mpaign_id=yhoo.
In addition to my last post, more importantly: This is the first I have heard of a MLB application for the iPhone. Do you think this will impact Sirius XM tomorrow?

Classic car sales bargaining strategy......."I don't know, I'll have to talk to my manager about that - I'll see what I can do, but I can't promise you anything."

White House: GM, Chrysler fail to submit restructuring plan that will get them more money
Philip Elliott, Associated Press Writer
Monday March 30, 2009, 1:52 am EDT
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The White House says neither General Motors nor Chrysler submitted acceptable plans to receive more bailout money, setting the stage for a crisis in Detroit that would dramatically reshape the nation's auto industry.
The futures look really ugly.....

What is striking about 2008 is that so many of the stocks that showed up in the penny-stock category were household names, or at least well-known on Wall Street. They include retailers Rite Aid (ticker: RAD), Pier 1 Imports (PIR), and Eddie Bauer (EBHI); radio broadcasters Westwood One (WON) and Sirius XM Radio (SIRI); auto-parts giants Dana Holding (DAN) and Noble International (NOBL); and financials Friedman Billings Ramsey Group (FBR) and Thornburg Mortgage (THMR). As a category, penny stocks have attracted even more attention as AIG (AIG) entered their realm and Citigroup (C) hovered near it.
Why does BusinessWeek hate satellite radio so much?

We seem to be holding our own in premarket, it's actually UP!?
Interesting news day. Cant see how this helps today. Looks like 7500 will be tested quickly, well see if it holds.
Simple correction today on the failed break past 8000 from last week. Time to retest support now. Probably has very little or anything to do with the auto news.
I think I better stop watching and check back in on the sp later this afternoon, It is already depressing me...... Have a great Day!
Interesting. Going to exploit this as bad news. Really no news to good news, but whatever. See how the intraday market reacts if offered a lower buy in than Friday. Still looking for it to hold the .35 cent line(intradday). They are setting up premarket to be were they think the lows of the day might hit.
