I am expecting the announcement for the date for the Q4/YE2008 CC this week. (probably thursday after the bell or friday at open). Expect a spike on that. I think the week sees SIRI closing at 0.17.
Hey Newman, that's a penny a day for next 3 days - I'll take it.
Since I grabbed another 10,000 shares Monday morning (the optimism this week is infectious) I hope you are right, Newman.
i see 2 ways of looking at the past 7 days remarkable performance:
1) this is really great, things are looking up, keep buying, we're gonna make it!
OR
2) who am I kidding. Even at 17 cents, my cajones are still in the vise; it's kind of like being in hell, and someone just announced the temperature
went from 250 degrees to 240.
which way is right? only time will tell
I would go with scenario two... I am a pessimistic person here. The whole "secret investors & magic debt reduction" sounds like a lot of hocus pocus smoke & mirrors. I will watch the stock until the end of the week, but my "brown stock eye" is telling me to dump...
...and as for your temperature in hell comparison, remember that the temperature has nothing to do with the fact that once your there, you're going to burn no matter what.

Whats your take on the Echo/SiriXM in talks for weeks? Seems like we are playing a game of chicken and we driving a Ford Pinto and Wall Street/ECHO/SIRI are driving 18 wheelers loaded with C4.

All i know is im not worried one bit, no bad news today just bad journalist's who think they have to have some creative twist with every story, and always a negative twist with siri. I dont know about them being in talks for weeks, i figure that would be pretty normal in this kind of situation. I bet we will see the dish netowkr on sirius backseat tv, it's a way for them to team up against a common competitor in at&t.

That was purely an analogy.
I feel like Stern....I just want to know who I am working for today....I just don't want some weird transactions to go on where we get screwed out of our stock. Thinking with the 2 brain cells that I have left and that are out trying to ambush each other, I come to the conclusion that Nobody, no matter who they are can afford to lose we stock holders. It would ruin them. The press would be worse than it has been and people would write them off for a long time.
This is especially true when the SIRIUS company is so friable. The technology is so blatantly now and regressing from it would be regression in evolution. It doesn't make sense in any manner. It just isn't going to happen. That would be like going back to a 286 processor because times are hard....pure nonsense.
I personally don't care who ends up owning it...I just want a fair shake for we investors.
