Graham plans to appeal the judge's decision. Of course. He is a typical Retrumplican who has sold his soul to Donald Trump and is commiotted to protecting and defending Trump at all costs. Maybe someday Trump, Graham and Giulani will wind up sharing a prison cell.

A federal judge in Georgia denied Senator Lindsey Graham's bid to avoid testifying before a grand jury investigating interference in the 2020 election, rejecting the Trump ally's claim that he was shielded from such scrutiny by legislative privilege. US District Judge Leigh Martin May ruled that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis had "shown extraordinary circumstances and a special need for Graham’s testimony on issues relating to alleged attempts to influence or disrupt the lawful administration of Georgia’s 2020 elections."
The judge's ruling preceded another piece of bad news for key allies of former President Donald Trump: Georgia prosecutors have notified lawyers representing Rudy Giuliani that the personal attorney to Donald Trump is now a target of the widening election interference investigation.

Giuliani led Trump's legal team challenging the results of the 2020 Presidential election. They spread Trump's Big Lie that the election was rigged and stolen. They made baseless claims of voter fraud, dead people casting ballots and voting machines changing votes from Trump to Biden. They filed – and lost – 63 lawsuits. Giuliani was subpoenaed to testify before a grand jury in Fulton County because he made statements at legislative hearings in Georgia falsely claiming there had been "widespread voter fraud" in the state.

Rudy Giuliani faced six hours of questioning today before a special grand jury in Atlanta as a target of an investigation into attempts by former President Donald Trump and others to overturn his 2020 election defeat in Georgia. The former New York Mayor and Trump attorney left the Fulton County courthouse without commenting to reporters. Giuliani's questioning took place behind closed doors, as grand jury proceedings are secret. Though secrecy rules prohibit people present during grand jury testimony from discussing it, that prohibition does not apply to witnesses, but Giuliani said he didn't plan to talk about his testimony.

Graham, same as Trump and Giuliani, made baseless accusations of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 Presidential election. Graham is hoping he will never have to testify. He believes spreading The Big Lie of a stolen election and widespread voter fraud is Constitutionally protected speech. And, as for seeking to overturn Georgia's election results, who cares about the voters and our democracy?

John Eastman has appeared before the Fulton County grand jury investigating former President Donald Trump's efforts to overturn 2020 election in Georgia, according to a statement released today by his attorneys. Eastman, the attorney who authored a memo outlining a six-step plan for then-Vice President Mike Pence to overturn the election and award Trump a second term was advised to "assert attorney client privilege and the Constitutional right to remain silent where appropriate," the statement says.
