Rumor: Sirius XM combined lineup to be delayed

The combined music offering by Sirius XM Radio Inc. is expected to be delayed by nearly two weeks, according to anonymous sources.

The new channel lineup, originally rumored for a November 5th release date, is said to include 50 music channels resulting from the combined resources of both Sirius Satellite Radio and XM Satellite Radio. It is unclear which channels will "survive" from either service.

Sirius XM Radio's combined lineup is now said to be scheduled for a November 14th launch date, the sources told Orbitcast. The full changeover of the channels will occur over that weekend, between Friday (11/14) and Monday (11/17).

This news comes on the heals of an additional - but small - round of layoffs of on-air staff (reportedly including XM Flight 26's jock "PJ") and off-air staff yesterday.

Larry King just mentioned Sirius on CNN.......he has a guest on that is on the IndieTalk channel.

CNN had two of Sirius xm's political talk show hosts on last night...and it said so under their names and the the host mentioned they were from sirius. LOL, thats about all the advertising we get these days.

Thats a great list. I just got in SIRI today at .35 but I also like #95 on that list (JAVA).
This seems like the place to hang out and watch the rollercoaster so hello everyone!

I read somewhere in the VW forums where more than 70% of Volkswagon autos will have Sirius in them. That is how I initially became interested. The wife has a Diesel Jetta that came with the unit.

Good morning...

This is painful to watch....

The markets are tanking and SIRI just hit a new 52 week low of .34. I was hoping that .36 would hold......but nooooooo!!!!!!!

I might buy more, but am really scared about that....

This is soooooooo painful....ouch!
