Anyone care to predict the quarter and the effect on the sp?
I say blowout quarter and the sp soars like a lead balloon with a Thursday close $3.87. If I am wrong and the sp reacts rationally, I believe that will signal a beginning of a break from the Charlie Brown effect.

Also, here's my SIRI Earnings Trade. Selling the Oct30 $4 Puts....if I can collect $.15+ for them. I'll buy them back for $.05 if I can on any pop in price over $4, or if not, I'll jut hang onto them. Worst case I'm buying SIRI for $3.85 or lower net the premium.
Edit #1: have orders in to sell NFLX Nov 20 $100 calls @ $5
Also just sold NFLX Oct 30 $93.50 Puts @ $2.10 (what the heck...may as well take advantage of price weakness. :rolleyes:

If they had taken the whole charge q2 maybe it would have been enough to come in lower than expected eps...hence the split on taken half then, half now.
Think numbers will be blowout, but that charge of 110 million keeps us in check...we meet not beat as usual.
My call is that presuming we hold the 3.95 level end of close on Wednesday, then a +5% move to the upside from there gets us to 4.14/4.15 area. Of course if they announce hs news signing in conjunction then we hit 4.20 - 4.25 before pulling back.
The way i am playing this is wherever we sit wendsday at close (hopefully 3.95 or higher) i will be expecting a 5% move before sellers come in. Look to pre mrkt am of cc for your best bet to get that +5% price.
That' s my game plan. :)
