In private, Emperor Trump fears a recession. There have been 47 recessions in United States history. The most recent was December 2007 to June 2009. Many analysts foresee recession #48 coming in 2020 but it will not be as severe as #47. Trump will likely blame the recession on the Federal Reserve. He certainly won't blame himself. Emperors don't make mistakes.
