Then play nicely... SiriusOwner was smart enough to censor himself... you should take a lesson from him. =)
By the way, I can verify that NO ONE who has posted in this thread is Church Lady or Church Lady of the North. Not even SiriusOwner. Sorry all of you conspiracy theorists out there.
I was playing nicely!!! I don't agree with that form of censorship NEWMAN!!! I was not rude I was stating obvious facts about SiriusOwner!!!
The guy deserved everything I said! Where was your "Censorship" when he was harping on that guy who was excited about getting into the market for the first time with 200 shares of SIRI! SiriusOwner went on to call the guy pathetic, and made all sorts of other rude comments about him and others!!! HUH HUH NEWMAN!!!
SiriusOwner clearly has made up the church lady to bring him self up and see who bites to this persons fake remarks!!! Did you notice today when someone went after SiriusOwner and told him to go away and that he is a loser "ChurchLady" magically appears with this amazing fake investment??? And then after people started attacking "TheChurchlady" and asking for proof another one appears as "the north churchlady" or something like that!!!
I did not swear nor did I make even close to PG13 remarks! That was wrong of you Newman, all I did was voice my opinion of our pathological lying friend SiriusOwner...
He has rudely attacked many people on this board, and it may not have been as obvious as I did to him but he does it in condescending way that may not always be so obvious but I believe it is far more harmful than what I had to say to him!
Freedom of speech gone for everyone but SiriusOwner
"Oops well if you can verify it then... He is still in the wrong and has lied about many things!!!"
Damn Hopeful. You are one PO'd canuck. On a lighter note, how is your weather. Warming up alittle I hope. 90 F..ing degrees in San Antonio today. No rain in months! When does Victoria Island start to go into full bloom? What a gorgeous place!
Vancouver island. Im a dumbass!!!
Just a little PO'd! :)
Ummm well it was snowing this morning and currently around -1 Celsius. Just kind of freak weather coming down from the arctic! Spring is just around the corner, weather has been really nice this month and should be warming up in a week or so! It is a nice place thank you!
However I long for warmth and no rain ahahaha! We get so much rain up here!!! Tofino which is just a litte bit up island from me gets something like 9 meters of rain a year!!! THATS INSANE ahahha! All in all I would love to be in Texas right now!!! The grass is always greener on the other side eh???
Don't sweat it....they both have flowers....eh?
I used to live in Seattle and go up there a lot. Beautiful places.
When I was a crab fisherman in Alaska, I sailed through the inside straight on the way to Dutch Harbor in the Aleutian Islands because of really stormy weather on the outside Pacific Ocean. What beautiful trips those were. I have done it twice.
Now I live in Colorado....not much water. People have yacht clubs on mud holes here.
Bill,
You did Alaskan King Crab fishing??? That's awesome!!! I really want to try that it looks like fun!!! Maybe just once though lol!
I really enjoy crazy deadly jobs!~
Ya, I sure did for about 8 years. Being a commercial fisherman is a love / hate relationship. I loved the freedom and the money, but it is extremely rough. It is a deadly job. I have seen it more than once, but what satisfaction and pride a guy can have.
If you do it, you will really know your limits. Besides working in an extremely hostile situation, you work with really volatile people. Fisherman are really a rough crowd and you can't show any weakness.
It is fun and teamwork is key to making a boat run. If you have a chance, then give it a shot. If it isn't for you, then bail...22 hours a day working isn't fun. Sometimes you work and see the sun come up, go down, come up, go down and come up...then you catch 6 hours of sleep. Usually you catch an hour or two while you go down to the other end of the string of pots that you have set. It is very redundant.
It is an adventure though. I would do it again, but it is a job for a guy in his twenties or 30's at best.
I am really a mixed bag...I have been through graduate school, had a computer consulting business and then went back home to Seattle one day and was down by the water watching some guys backloading and rigging up and decided that I wanted to do that. I went back to Oregon, closed my business and went fishing....my parents thought I was nuts, but I did it anyway...It was the romance of the idea that got me...lol....and it was worth it.
Anyway...blah blah blah
have a great evening,
Bill
That's awesome!!! Thanks for sharing Bill!!! Great experience for you!!!
I think I would really enjoy it once or twice, I have tried to live my life so far the "Forest Gump" way ahaahah! I love having random crazy jobs!
My last crazy job was landing drills the size of cars from helicopters on 40-75 degree slopes! Lots of fun!
Blah blah blah ahahah we are taking up the intraday thread...
Hopeful my issue is that your remarks actually have nothing to do with the thread. Call him an idiot all you want, as long as you back it up with proof, I have no problem with that as long as it is important to the issues of the thread. You did provide some "factual" stuff in the post, but it had nothing to do with the thread or with S.O.s previous arguments. You notice I generally don't delete Demian's arguments with SO, because typically they have factual information in them that contributes to the thread. Yours, in this instance, had absolutely nothing to do with the thread and was nothing more than a personal flame of S.O. That won't be tollerated here because I REFUSE to let these boards become anything close to Google/Yahoo Finance boards.
As far as S.O. calling some newbie an idiot, as hard as I try, sometimes I cannot read every single post on these message boards. As I stated in the begining of this thread, I am a full time Registered Nurse (work 48-72 hours per week usually), occasional volunteer paramedic (on the 1-2 days Im not at work and have nothing else to do), full time Master's Degree student (taking 17 hours this semester), manage this message board on at least a daily basis, usually more often, and on VERY rare occasions, try to have a life. A post or two MIGHT get by me. That is what the "Report this Post" button is for.
And BTW: Don't use metric messurments. It confuses us Texans on the board. ;)
I try not to argue with Siriusowner anymore. When he posts inaccurate information on the board, I correct him and try to post a link to the correct information - something I would hope people would do for me if I posted something that was inaccurate. Siriusowner has already admitted that he gets his jollies from messing with people on this board here......

BTW, Siriusowner already said he didn't have a wife in this post........

It's best to try to ignore bullies and it's no fun arguing with liars...
We don't know the reason yet.....maybe they just have to fix something?

I have all the SIRI that I am going to buy for now. I'm averaged down pretty well but can't justify risking any more cash for now. .12 is attractive though.
What do you think of selling on a pop in share price if 4Q news is well received by the market and buying back later as it will surely sink again?
Newman,
I apologize for getting out of line last night! I was a little frustrated and felt I had to get my point across!
Now I understand and fully appreciate you "editing" my post so this forum does not become like the Yahoo or Google boards!
Thank you Newman for all the hard work you do for this board, no hard feelings lol! Also I think you should get an assistant and relax a bit ahahaha I thought I was busy man! :)
If you are so sure it's going to pop and then sink again then why are you asking? Obviously you sell at the top and buy at the bottom. Pretty simple aint it?
I am what I am, I am me and know one else. Sorry if I anger people here. I am new at doing investments so I am doing things that I feel are good to me. I have invested in SIRI and have been reading this website long before my first post. I will invest in SIRI again as it will go up and down alot on it's way back up but I will be buying and selling on the highs and lows. If you want to know what I am thinkng of buying now to see what I am trading next it will be either C or FITB depending on how low they go today as they will open very down then shoot up 30% or more where I will sell. I am leaning towards FITB right now
Doobz, I wouldn't be asking if I were sure (although I used ther word "surely"). It just seems that this stock can't sustain a rally very long and unless the news is stupendous (like a 1 cent profit,, which is unlikely) I don't expect any jump in price will be long-lived.
