President Trump reportedly revives birther claims against Obama
New York Daily News, Nov 29 2017 6:26 AM

Behind closed doors, President Trump has revived a conspiracy theory that his predecessor Barack Obama was not born in the U.S., according to a report. A senator who spoke to the New York Times on the condition of anonymity recounted a conversation with Trump in which he questioned the authenticity of President Barack Obama’s birth certificate, a falsehood he has fueled since 2011. Trump has repeated the theory in recent months, even though he held a press conference in September 2016 and announced, "President Obama was born in the United States — period."

Three years after Obama released a short-form birth certificate in 2008 to quell rumors he was born in Kenya, Trump revived the birther movement to undermine the legitimacy of the country’s first black president. During an appearance on The View in 2011, Trump asked, "Why doesn’t he show his birth certificate? There’s something on that birth certificate that he doesn’t like." He also famously tweeted, "An extremely credible source has called my office and told me that Barack Obama’s birth certificate is a fraud." Trump, who finally conceded two months before the 2016 elections that Obama was indeed born in the U.S., is now reverting back to his old ways.

The Hypocrite In Chief condemns others for sexual abuse (provided they're Democrats and not Republicans) while denouncing all the women who have accused him of sexual abuse as "liars." In today's idiotic tweets, the President continues to spout his tiresome "fake news" mantra. He's like a parrot: "Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Skrawwwkkk!" Here is what he tweeted early this morning:

"Wow, Matt Lauer was just fired from NBC for 'inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.' But when will the top executives at NBC & Comcast be fired for putting out so much Fake News. Check out Andy Lack’s past!"

"So now that Matt Lauer is gone when will the Fake News practitioners at NBC be terminating the contract of Phil Griffin? And will they terminate low ratings Joe Scarborough based on the 'unsolved mystery' that took place in Florida years ago? Investigate!"

Here are more details about those "fake videos" retweeted by the President of the United States. This is from Vox.com:

"President Donald Trump spent part of his Wednesday morning retweeting three videos about alleged Islamist violence. One claimed to show a Muslim man destroying a statue of the Virgin Mary; another professed to have captured a 'Muslim migrant' beating up a 'Dutch boy on crutches'; and a third seemed to show Muslim men pushing a boy off a building. There were two problems. First, at least one of the videos was fake; reports quickly emerged showing that the perpetrator in the video about the Dutch boy is apparently neither Muslim nor a migrant.

The video of teens being pushed from a rooftop is three and a half years old and took place in Egypt, during a spasm of violence following the ouster of then-Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi. At least one of the perpetrators was executed for the crime. The third video’s source remains unverified."

Brendan Cox is the widower of Jo Cox, a member of the British Parliament who was killed last year by a man shouting "Britain first!" Britain First is the name of the alt-right group that created fake videos purporting to show violence by Muslim immigrants. Those are the fake videos that our fake President retweeted. Brendan Cox said, "Trump has legitimized the far right in his own country and now he's trying to do it in ours. Spreading hatred has consequences and the President should be ashamed of himself."

Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, added, "It is deeply disturbing that the President of the United States has chosen to amplify the voice of far-right extremists."

It's all part of Trump's ongoing campaign to "Make America Hate Again."

American taxpayers have paid more than $84,000,000 -- so far -- for our billionaire President to play golf. Trump has absolutely no shame.

Secret Service paid $7,470 to use golf carts for Trump Thanksgiving
New York Daily News, Nov 30 2017 5:25 PM

Blowing money is just par for the course. Newly revealed orders show that the Secret Service had to chip in $7,470 to rent golf carts while President Trump spent Thanksgiving at his private club Mar-a-Lago. According to USA Today, the expense added to the already sizeable amount the agency has had to spend on renting the diminutive course-covering vehicles, with the current total reaching at least $144,975 so far.

The contract to rent golf carts in Florida is not with a Trump-branded course but rather the Miami-based Golf Cart & Utility Distributors. However, that sum for the rentals is nothing compared to what Trump's golf habits have cost taxpayers in full. The site Trumpgolfcount.com estimates his 78 visits to golf clubs since inauguration thus far have broken the $84 million mark.

White House excludes April Ryan from Christmas party
 AOL News, Nov 30 2017 2:59 PM

The White House failed to invite one prominent journalist of color to this year's Christmas party and it's the first time she's been excluded from the event in 20 years. It's April Ryan. And as one of the few female minority journalists with credentials to the White House press pool, who has had a history of clashing repeatedly with ex-White House press secretary Sean Spicer and his successor, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, she believes the omission is no mistake. "I don’t think I was overlooked," she told the Washington Post. "I think they don’t like me. For whatever reason, they have disdain for me."

News of Ryan's non-invite also arrives amid reports Tuesday that CNN, for which Ryan is a contributor, announced it would also not be attending the White House Christmas party. "In light of the President’s continued attacks on freedom of the press and CNN, we do not feel it is appropriate to celebrate with him as invited guests," a CNN spokesperson told The Hill.

‘He cannot escape this’: April Ryan says Trump will have a day of reckoning on sex abuse allegations
 Raw Story, Nov 30 2017 4:48 PM

American Urban Radio Networks Washington bureau chief April Ryan told CNN today that President Donald Trump will inevitably have a day of reckoning with regard to the women who have accused him of sexual harassment and assault. Ryan was discussing accusations of sexual misconduct against Rep. John Conyers with journalist Hadas Gold and CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin. Gold said politicians face accountability only at the ballot box or — in rare instances — when they choose to step down. Thus the process will move slower than it does in broadcasting or other businesses where consumers make decisions every day.

"What I see is that we have a president who a couple of weeks ago was weighing in on Roy Moore. He wanted Roy Moore regardless because he was desperate for a win — a legislative win, one legislative win," Ryan said. "Now with all of this coming up, we have a president who is the moral leader, who is faced with twelve-plus allegations, twelve-plus women, who are concerned about sexual misconduct with then-civilian Donald Trump. He cannot escape this. As the chorus of names grows, it puts the spotlight back on this president.”

Trump is reportedly planning to replace the Secretary of State early next year with someone who will be an invaluable asset to Trump's "Make America Hate Again" campaign.

Mike Pompeo at State would enable Trump's worst instincts
If Rex Tillerson is replaced, one barrier keeping the President in check will fall away. CIA director Pompeo embraces anti-Muslim bigots, and defames Muslims, with almost as much gusto as Trump himself.
