That fact that you say my responses are bullshit just shows your ignorance to what I am trying to get across (maybe that is my fault for not making myself clearer?). I am not making nor have I ever been making a case for Pandora or Slacker to succeed, I make a pleading case that Sirius XM should expand their model to crush these companies. But, you guys cant see that because the second you here a COMPETITORS name mentioned your logic and reasoning goes out the window like a bunch of overly emotional rabid dogs.

I get it guys, I really do, I know first hand how bad this stock can hurt someone but, if you guys are investing in that kind of emotional state, that is some scary stuff. Just understand the facts and leave your emotions out of it.

Perfect, it is exactly like that. So much so, that coke started bottling water! The soda companies saw such a hit from the "drink 8 bottles of water a day to be healthy" revolution that "dasani" wound up in coke machines. Back when I was a kid there was NEVER water in a coke machine.

Thank you for finally laying this whole thing to rest. I don't want slacker or pandora to beat Sirius XM out, I just want them to put that service into the Sirius XM "machines."

Agree. If I am listening to talk, it is Sirius XM. Music is Slacker.

if Slacker is playing a song I don't like I can skip it. I can not do that on Sirius XM. That feature alone is one main reason that Slacker and others like Slacker get a following

charles dont question my emotional state plz, i know where ur coming from ive heard it a million times. sirius has the largest revenue of any radio company. my problem charles is u are always always always complaining. k, nothing sirius has done since ive been wathcing this site has impressed u. if u have u failed to mention it or i never saw it. if u followed this company from early times it should amaze u that they have the largest revenue out there for any radio company, that they now have 15 million self paying subs and that they pretty much have done what so many said they could never do. maybe its the stock price that has u so negative, and so down on the company. the stock price is a joke, its a result of the ****ed up merger process and mel having to do that ugly financing on top of the media who at every turn has an agenda to take satrad down. The stock is not the company, i think sirius is doing really well right now, its just too bad the stock price isnt reflecting that yet. you want them to be apple well there not, they are more like direct tv or cbs. it took awhile before cbs started to release all of its programs for free online and join the tech age. It did though cause thats what people wanted. People want satrad on their cell phone they will get it too. You cant compare every situation and company to netflix, there is only 1 netflix. I have also heard alot of bad things about the netflix system, like getting messed up dvd's on a regular basis.

I can skip songs on my xmp3...i can record 40 hours of new content overnight (5 channels at once over 8 hours)..and the next day...whammy..skipping galore.

Very true. I have used the feature myself. Where Slacker still carries an advantage is in that I can "create" a channel.

I will use my rush example. After months of listening to Sirius XM, I was lucky to have 5 Rush songs. And try saving those songs off of the recorded content. They wont let you any more.

After 2 hours of listening to a channel called Rush, I had 10 or 15 rush songs saved.

Slacker allowed me a great listening experience with a Rush themed station, and at the same time I was able to build my library of saved content.

Sirius XM allows me a great listening experience, but building a library of saved content on Sirius XM is a tedious process.

Now, The Slacker station such as Rush has a shallow playlist because of the narrow focus, but I was able to obtain many of the tracks I wanted in a short period of time. Then I create a new narrow focus station like the Eagles.....and so on and so on.

If Sirius XM were to emulate this it would be huge.

It is features like what I am speaking of above that make the Slackers of the world attractive to consumers.

For the past 2 years there has been many frustrations with Sirius XM. The merger took its toll in more ways than one.

From the standpoint of hardware, there has been little innovation.

From the standpoint of the stock, there has been littel to be happy about.

From the standpoint of the consumer experience, little has changed.

This is not to say that the company has not accomplished anything, it is just that things are moving slowly. The company can also make great strides in the coming months.

Being the largest revenue generator is good. Doing it in a profitable situation is what we need to see. Then it will be great. They are not far off, and once making money, they can trow themselves around like an 800 pound gorilla. Those are the days when everyone will be happy.

Your confusing the company with many brands and products with SiriusXM. Yes Coke did start bottling water, but its still not in the soft drink market. When I go to the restraurant and I want to order a soda, i dont order a disani. I order coke or pepsi. Pepsi is coke's competitor. Not water.Now if SiriusXM would like to add features than people like , they can. But Slacker can never do what SiriusXM does.

In my business if I had a 45percent take rate, I wouldnt be worrying about where SiriusXM was priced right now:p:D.
Charles unknowingly presented a very compelling percentage. ITs a paid sub. If it was free, you would get a 5% decline rate. Maybe even zero. And they would listen to it. They may also like Slacker yes. If Slacker charged 12 dollars a month, and they get 15 million takers, come talk to me Charles and Tyler then about how its competition. When they rake in 600 million dollars in revenue, then they can be considered competition. Until then, they are not competition. If they are they are competition like anything is that competes for your time, energy , and money. Which would then have to take into account hobbies, personal life, kids, and profession.

Let's look at the reality of this penny stock. I am sure you have seen this before, being intellectuals that you are. Watch this video and then determine what phase SIRI is in, but don't comment until you watch this vid:
