Pay attention to WTI, approaching 44.50. Equities can ignore for a bit longer. If it breaks (and I think it will), equities will probably start to care, at least it will come back in to the narrative. May take a couple of tries to break.

So in short... Midas was a proxy for Waldo's $2.75 call.
I have owned Sirius XM off and on for many years. I too trade SIRI like everyone else here. I don't feel the need to tell everyone every single buy and sell trade I make on SIRI. As you can see, you have some real sticklers in here that write down every single thing you say or do. I like to spice it up a little. :) Like DM posted yesterday, I did make a lot of my money in the oil business but I am not a lawyer. I trade stocks, options, etc. I am sure all of you don't post every trade you make either. Right?
If you want to call Midas or Waldo a liar, fine. It doesn't really matter. People have made tons of calls that never came to fruition. Yes we get lucky sometimes and make good calls. Congrats!
Waldo felt bad after he saw how the forum responded to my post so he decided to come out and own it. Waldo is a good person. I like Waldo a lot! Thank you Waldo for trying to step in and calm everyone down. But as you can see, it didn't really work.
And remember, all of this non-sense about a $2.75 call comes DIRECTLY from DM_4 who was suspended by SiriusBuzz and posted a pornographic image of a naked woman in a stock forum. Either DM and Denco decided it was inappropriate and deleted it or SiriusBuzz or a moderator deleted it.
p.s. Love your post. I guess you are trying to do some damage control after posting the porn picture. Are you really that worried about being suspended again? :)
p.s.s. Keep in mind, I am not the only one that posts for other people. I mean, DM was posting for Faulkner after Faulkner claimed he was never coming back. He posted several comments for Faulkner. :)
p.s.s.s. I mean... are we really going to give DM a hard time if SIRI doesn't hit $4.10 like he predicted today? I mean if it does, I will congratulate him but if it doesn't are you going to hold him to the same standard as you do everyone else?
p.s.s.s.s. I have a lot of friends here. I am not going anywhere. If you don't like my "delivery" on on Sirius XM, oh well. Grow up!
p.s.s.s.s.s. You have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) DM. You really need to have it checked out. It consumes your entire life here in this forum. :)
You have a lot of friends here ahmmm if you say so (alaises dont count)
Don't think i said 4.10 was going to hit today. Think i said i was looking for a 5% move or 4.10 today or next few days. We were up close to 4% when we hit 4.05 so if you want to rake me over the coals for that be my guest. :)
Ok everyone. Write down what he said because if he's wrong, we are going to tar and feather him. :) For someone who is pushing 50 years old, you sure don't act like it. :) hehehe Even when you are serious when you are writing, it doesn't sound like it.
Still at it...
You crack me up. So your 50 years old and single? Really? I never get tired of myself. I love myself. :)
Back to Sirius:
Looks like we are having some support to keep us at or over $4. . The usual routine would be once the sp starts a decline after holding higher, the bottom falls out and we lose much of our gains. I am wondering though how much of our gain is because of the macro market having a good day? We will see what profit taking going into the close gets us.
You make a very good point/observation regarding today's market performance. Being that the indices are having a great day and SIRI is acting squirely, my guess is today is a little of both. Good earnings with a sprinkle of Macro spice. My bet is if the overall market starts to sell off going into the close, SIRI may follow suit. Good Luck BDP! You down with BDP.... Yeah you know me! :)
Merrill Lynch on Why Sirius XM Can Go to $5 After Earnings

Edit 3.46 pm. sorry beehaus i just notice you already posted this earlier.
Faulkner called that in 2013. Old news but good news today! :)
So I pull up Bloomberg.com to go check WTI per Waldo's missive about "watch out for $44.50 and what is plastered all over page #1?
"Politics / Hillary Clinton Accepts Responsibility for Benghazi Attack in Committee Testimony"
In my world when you "accept responsibility" for some screw up, there's a consequence. You resign, you are fired, fined, put in jail, disbarred, banned, disinherited, suspended...any number of things. None of these things or anything even remotely resembling an consequence was mentioned in that article. So exactly how is this woman accepting any responsibility for the total clusterfu*ck that was Bengazi? If you are going to "accept responsibility" then step up and accept it - consequences and all. Don't hide behind words. Sheesh!
Oh GAWD help us; now she's almost in tears as she recalls the details of how she led the charge to try to find the Ambassador and in hopes he was still alive.......... Oh please, quick, someone send her a crying towel as she speaks of the bravery and heroics of those cherished members of her staff.
How could a designated "safe room" not be designed with a proper ventilation system or stocked with proper ventilation apparatus and fire power?? Isn't that "Basic Security 101"?
Guys and gals,
If we can, lets end this, please....
I made a call. That call included a lot of information, one of the numbers in it was the number 2.75. There were also the 3.05/3.06, 3.35/3.36 and 3.65/3.66 ranges to predictably trade over and over. It included details of the break out number (3.65/3.66) and break down number (3.06) and what to do if either of those broke and held. I ended up buying the 3.65 break out, just like I said I would if it hit and would have done the same at 2.75. The strategy did not need 2.75 to hit for it to be highly profitable.
If you have anything you want to discuss about '2.75', and it's part of the larger 'call' or why I should have been posting in this forum before knew I needed to post in this forum, see me (this thread, new thread or pm). I am more than up to having this conversation.
It would be a smarter move to be paying attention to the '~today' and trying to make money '~today'. There are opportunities and I would like to take advantage of them.
