Market Watch week of 10/05/2009

LT--
In order to properly smoke some ribs, you need the following:
1. Even heat, across the board. Low-temp (if you can keep it low) is critical.
2. Water. That's right, you need a water pan in the smoker/grill. Keeps things moist and catches the drippings.
3. Smoke. I use Mesquite.

Keep working on it, and you'll get there. It's woooooorth it. ;)

As for MESA...I have made money on them in the past. Still undervalued (IMHO) in the .25 range. Might make for a good short-term flipper.

I am keeping my eye on LFBG this morning...it is dropping. If I can get it really cheap it would be worth it. I will have to look up any news on it to make sure what the cutoff date is for the (dividend) forward split.

Speaking of flips, at least smaller percentage ones, Candleman made a pretty good call on PMU. The price moves pretty moderately day to day, but intraday, the swings are pretty big - seems like you could flip for 10% quite often.

I have no idea where that's headed... fill the gap or base out right where it is. Interesting one, for sure.

Around what price do you want it at?

It does have a price support line at 0.07, not sure if that's the area you are aiming for... but if it breaks yesterday's candle's low, an order at 0.071 or so would likely get filled.

Hey Greg, funny ... I always use a pan with some water in it, except Sunday I spaced it and didn't even realize until I spread the coals around at the end to put a little 'char' on them and the all the grease drippings caught on fire ... :o - Have tried various liquids ... beer, fruit juice (IN the pan, not for the cook!).

Chip's were mesquite ...
Indirect method for about 2 1/2 hours ...
It's got to be the meat and the rub that just ain't cutting it ...
Next time I think I will forgo the rub and just baste them with olive oil, a little bit of seasoning ... see where that takes me.

Or I could just go Ramsey's route in the oven ...

I'll work on it. I think I made $3 off my PMU trade after commissions - great entry, was up 73% the next day, and the open was the previous close... which seems to me to be the kiss of death... and man it dropped fast. I had the first half order in, but as I was fiddling with the buttons it dropped one level, so as I readjusted, it dropped another. Classic case of good entry, poor exit.

With EVFL trading billions and billions of shares without budging from the .0001-.0002 range, what is the draw behind holding shares in this company?

I realize almost all of you are in at .0001 and therefore cannot loose money on this stock. But wouldnt it be wiser to apply that money to stocks that actually have movement in price?
