so you dont think 12 days later that siri is still the most shorted stock? You have nothing to prove that, but you would be asking us for proof if the situation was reversed.

I thought you were blocking me...I am delighted that you are not...lol.
I do not know but Demian was wrong (and that was my point)... who knows if Siri is still the most shorted stock as of today ? Not you, not Demian, not me, not a 12 day old report.
I specifically said, ".....according to the latest Nasdaq report." and I posted the report.
According to the report, SIRI has the largest short position on the Nasdaq...
You said in this thread (just this morning) that "no one is shorting it anymore"............

You are wrong and you have nothing to back up your claim.......and you are accusing me of being wrong?
The miniscule volume and price action in the last few days since Jan. 15th does not indicate that the shorts have covered and stopped shorting...
This is what you said: "SIRI is now the #1 shorted stock on the Nasdaq"
I do not know about you but for me "now" = "today".
I have posted what short interest means on that same thread from investopedia. I am not going to repeat it here.
You are the one that is wrong and you posted it... so now you have something to claim that you are wrong with.
Trippin
Happy B day from one San Antononian to another. I used to try Demian's pickup line...got tired of being told to go F.. myself! Hope your day went well.
Siriusowner,
Do you still stand by your statement that, "no one is shorting it anymore"?????
Just because the stock was up less than a penny today (on low volume) doesn't mean that the shorts have all covered and the shorting has stopped. The low volume and price action say that it hasn't.
That wasn't my point anyway. My point was that you were quibbling with me over semantics, but you say that "no one is shorting it anymore" - which is obviously not true.....
The backing I have is technical: Low volume, price up (even if it went up only 3.64%) = no sellers, few buyers, no conviction.
How do you prove the contrary ?
I did not say you misquoted me. You implied I have said "the shorts had covered". I never even implied that the shorts have covered. The day they cover the stock is going to shoot up and volume will swell.
I did not "imply" that you said something that you didn't. You are falsely accusing me and it's getting boring...
SIRI moving less than a penny on low volume is really meaningless.....
Ladies, ladies...
:gfight::gfight::gfight:
Can we please move on?
