After lying by calling Democrats "anti-Israel" and "anti-Semitic" (and ignoring the fact that he praised as "fine people" the neo-Nazis who chanted "Jews will not replace us!" during a 2017 march in Charlottesville), the Liar-In-Chief is at it again:

CNN senior political analyst John Avlon explains how Republicans practice "situational ethics." They believe the President should be honest and have integrity -- unless the President is a Republican. They believe lying and obstruction of justice are grounds for impeachment -- unless the President is a Republican. They seek "truth" -- unless the President is a Republican.

Top House Republican blasts Trump plan to charge allies a premium on US troops
HuffPost, Mar 10 2019 4:23 PM
Representative Liz Cheney (R-Wyoming), the third-ranking House Republican, today criticized President Donald Trump's plan to force US allies to pay billions of dollars more for hosting American troops on their soil. Under a new formula devised by the President, allies such as Japan and South Korea would potentially pay Washington the full cost of stationing US troops in their territory, plus an additional 50 percent. The formula, which Trump has dubbed "cost plus 50," could cause affected countries to contribute five times what they currently do.
Cheney told NBC's Meet The Press that the impact of this plan would be "absolutely devastating" to US diplomacy. "We benefit tremendously from our bases and our cooperation with our allies," she told host Chuck Todd. "The notion that we are somehow now going to charge them cost plus 50 is wrongheaded and it would be devastating to the security of our nation and to our allies." Cheney said she wouldn’t support such a formula but would not say whether her party would.

Does our immigrant-hating President honestly believe Congress will give him $8.6 billion so he can build the unnecessary, expensive, ineffective Trump Wall monument to himself? Of course not -- but he has to show his immigrant-hating supporters that he's making an effort to get his stupid wall built lest they perceive him as weak. California Senator Kamala Harris got right to the point:
Kamala Harris
@SenKamalaHarris
Let's get this straight: billions of dollars for a border wall is a waste of money. American taxpayers shouldn't foot the bill for the President's vanity project. We simply don't need it.

In retrospect, it would have been better for Donald Trump to admit to his affair with Stormy Daniels instead of making hush-money payments to cover it up and then lying about the affair and the payments -- but that would have required being honest and that is something Trump can't do.

The President just proposed a record $4.75 trillion budget which includes $8.6 billion for The Trump Wall monument to himself. When Congress refuses to give him the $8.6 billion, Los Angeles Times writer Jon Healey asks, will Trump try to bypass Congress once again by finding something else to declare a "national emergency"?

NBC News' national political reporter Jonathan Allen has Trump all figured out: Make promises, fail to keep them, blame somebody else.
Trump broke his promise to fix the debt. He'll blame Congress in 2020.
Analysis: The President said he'd eliminate the debt. Instead, he borrowed trillions more. But he's betting the red ink won't stain him in 2020.
