In the first four months of the current fiscal year, the federal deficit soared to $310 billion, an increase of 77% compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year. A big part of the deficit stems from Trump's huge tax cuts for banks, big corporations and the wealthiest Americans. I like this letter from the horribly-named I.D. Weiner of Malibu in today's Los Angeles Times pointing out the hypocrisy of the Republicans:
"Where are the tea party protesters with their funny hats now? I don't see them demonstrating over the federal deficit anywhere. Oh, that's right, this crazy deficit is the work of Republicans. Will wonders never cease?"
Li Yang donated thousands of dollars to Trump's Presidential campaign. She owns several spas in south Florida, spas which were fronts for prostitution rings, and she formerly owned the spa where Patriots owner Robert Kraft was arrested for soliciting prostitution. Both Kraft and Yang are friends of Trump. Is anyone surprised?
