Remember when Trump said every one -- every one! -- of the 13 women who accused him of sexual improprieties is a liar? He promised to present evidence of their lies "at the appropriate time." Of course he never did so. He never had any such "evidence." I'm sure Trump will call this woman a liar, too:

By declaring a national emergency where none exists and by planning to steal money from federal agencies so he can build The Trump Wall monument to himself, Trump is guilty of an unconstitutional abuse of power. However, he's warning Republicans against voting to block his phony emergency declaration. He accused Democrats of setting a "trap" (lie #1) and wanting "open borders and crime" (lie #2) and he said "the voters are on board" with his plans to build The Trump Wall (lie #3). Unfortunately, a large majority of Republicans will refuse to block the emergency declaration. The party comes first -- and, anyway, who really cares about some silly old document written in 1787?

Trump has been hit with yet another lawsuit. He and his three oldest children made millions of dollars by promoting three companies that offered fraudulent "business opportunities" to young people. One of the companies was The Trump Institute. Another was The Trump Network. As I have said before, the two things Trump cares about the most are himself and making money. Becoming President of the United States has not changed that.

Former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, who was disbarred today, will testify tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee and detail Trump's involvement in the hush-money payments to Stormy Daniels -- and Florida Republican Congressman and Trump ally Matt Gaetz just threatened Cohen on Twitter. The threat could be seen as witness tampering and/or obstruction of justice.

Hey @MichaelCohen212 - Do your wife & father-in-law know about your girlfriends? Maybe tonight would be a good time for that chat. I wonder if she’ll remain faithful when you’re in prison. She’s about to learn a lot...

The vote was 245 to 182. Thirteen Republicans joined with Democrats in voting to uphold the United States Constitution, the rule of law and our nation's system of checks and balances. The majority of Republicans, as expected, had no spine and refused to vote against Trump's unconstitutional power grab and abuse of authority. For them, the Republican party comes first -- and, anyway, who really cares about some silly old document written in 1787?

Since the President is so unyieldingly determined to build the unnecessary, expensive, ineffective Trump Wall monument to himself and since a majority of Americans are opposed to his stupid wall, why doesn't he just build The Trump Wall at his Mar-a-Lago resort or along Fifth Avenue in front of Trump Tower? It would be much less expensive than a border wall and American taxpayers would probably not be opposed to it -- as long as Trump stays on the other side of it.

Donald Trump's lap dog, Sarah Sanders, said Cohen is a "convicted liar" who will "spread his lies" tomorrow when he testifies before the House Oversight Committee. Sorry, little lap dog, but Cohen will be telling the truth -- the truth about Trump's lies, Trump's racism, Trump's hush-money payments, Trump's knowledge of the hacked DNC emails, Trump's negotiations for a Trump Tower Moscow and Trump's phony claim of "bone spurs" to avoid having to fight in Việt Nam. Cohen calls Trump a "racist," a "cheat" and a "con man" -- and those might be the nicest things he can say about Trump.

Very predictably, all the Republicans at today's House Oversight Committee hearing are attacking Michael Cohen's ethics, his finances and his credibility and denouncing his testimony as a "political game" intended to make Trump look bad (as if Trump needed any help). Rudy Giuliani said anyone who believes Cohen is a "fool." As we all know, Republicans, with very few exceptions, value their party above all else. The Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the rule of law and the system of checks and balances are low-priority. Trump and the Republican party come first.
