"When I downloaded the app yesterday at 11:56 PM via iTunes and installed it on my iPhone there was a Howard 101 button under the talk catagory, I actually listened for a few seconds. It is now gone."

You know what though, siri was #2 earlier and pandora #1. I doubt pandora got more downloads this morning than sirius which would make me think its not just for today. But this is just me assuming
HELLO did every1 miss mypost? i called its what relmor just said, im assuming stern wants more money to be broadcasted through the mobile platform as well. stern likes to play things out and show people he is in demand :o
Sorry man, Hectic today. I saw that post. You are probably right. I think Howard is coming, just not right now. For whatever reason. I dont think anywhere here thinks the Iphone app will never be able to access Howard. Do they? I mean if they do, I can respect that. Lets debate it.Quote:

Spoke with Customer Sevice. Didn't give me the no mobile rights, but did say that Howard is "not yet available, but availability updates will be posted on the SXM website". I asked so he will be available and the guy said, "It will be posted on the website." So Howard is coming.
The guy also said that they are overwhelmed with calls today, so the hype will continue folks. Count on it.
In the PR it says select programming including... Is there more content than listed not available?
Some select programming, including MLB Play-by-Play, NFL Play-by-Play, SIRIUS NASCAR Radio, and Howard Stern, will not be available on the iPhone and iPod touch. Listeners will continue to be able to access that programming through the platforms they are currently offered on.
when sirius first went online stern didnt come right away either.

Because according to Tylers own words, hes more of a reporter of facts, than a critical journalist. His reasoning on why he posts analysist opinions was its facts,and the facts need to be presented, good or bad. So im curious. Is this just fact reporting? Critical journalism? Or a news breaker?

supposedly another rumor going around is stern will be free on itunes. dunno they keep giving an itunes link but i dont have itunes installed.
Hey Charles, thanks for posting the reviews for the app. Heres some real reviews, from people he can actually debate with and talk too. Much more useful information.
"The APP is perfect for music lovers like me with ADD who constantly love to switch channels. The APP allows me to see exactly what is playing and I can scan 120 channels during one song. The fact that I can see the song lists is priceless to me. Howard fans don't change the channel and can pay $3 to get ooTunes and play Howard to their heart's content. I love the SP swing up and down on this non-issue. ."
What are the thoughts on the iTunes tagging and shopping. Do you think there is some kind of kickback to Sirius-XM for driving sales, or is that just Apple's "tax" for having the good graces to allow the app in the first place?Quote:
