Hopeful, from my understanding the deal with DirecTV (Malone) is said to involve Malone taking a large stake in the company with a cash infusion. This does not wipe out shareholders.

With Dish (Ergen), there have been conflicting reports about Ergen forcing BK or not. In one of the latest articles, it looks like Ergen may agree to let Mel continue running the company AND leave the company out of BK.

As long as we are not BK, we are good to go. Even with dilution massive 100% dilution, we will still go up, because the shares are priced for BK.

But, as a caution, I don't think anything gets announced until at least Sunday, probably monday night (yes, even though it is a holiday... isnt this the 2 year aniversery of the merger announcement?)

Me too, I need my 5 hours sleep, up at 5am pacific again for pre-market and my pot of coffee - haven't slept in 2 weeks and it's been 5 years of torture.

Soon to come to an end & hopefully on a high note !
