Poll results to date.....

I think he knows that and has mentioned the results will be somewhat skewed (or maybe he mentioned that in an email to me). For arguments sake, 10% have said they have zero subs.

I think the point stands and the reality is somewhere in between the numbers discussed here. I find that people who like Sirius XM either like it a lot or are simply content. 4 people in my immediate family have subs and 3 of them have multiples.

Take it for what its worth but, I am sure we can all agree that some number of subscribers have multiple accounts and the way Sirius XM track subscription numbers is a little misleading.

The numbers are simply not as good as Sirius XM would like us to believe. I am not looking to speculate numbers or have an argument here, just speaking generalities... generally speaking the numbers aren't as good as what is reported.

This just shows how skewed the poll is. We both know that nowhere near 90% of the general population has SIRIXM. I would be willing to say the same gos for the family plans that this poll shows.

Now I have no problem with a poll like this in general. The problem I have is, when someone is going to use it for the base of their arguement. I would more rather relie more on the companys statement on this subject. They have stated they would like them higher, so the fact remains if as you say (which is true to a point) they are skewing their own results, you would think they would want them skewed more in their favor. So going from that they would be skewing the numbers to show a higher percentage of family plans, because that is what they have said they would like. One last piece of logic, that as long as they keep their ARPU high enough what would they care if they show the amount of family plans to be higher, if what they stated is true and they would like nothing more then to get their family plans up to a higher level.

I have asked Mr. Blalock of IR for this information and he refuses to divulge the number of multiple subscribers. Want to know why? Because the number of subscribers are a hell of a lot less then the current 20 million they are claiming they have. A hell of a lot less. I think the numbers would be embarrassing.

your still pumping that crap that they dont have alot of subscribers, give it up it doesnt matter, no one but you is denying their numbers, kinda funny huh with all the haters out there that none of the articles have picked up on this. I dont think it matters how they get subscribers family plans individuals or not who fkin cares as long as they can keep there revenue up and cust costs down, they can be a profitable company with the subs they have already if they can trim costs down and get the synergies rolling.

That shows the poll is weak? You would think that 10% of the people who come to a site dedicated to Sirius wouldn't have a subscription at all? Really? Sure the poll is skewed but, it does show the possibility of the trend.

I would rather rely on the company's numbers as well but, anyone of average intelligence should be able to see that the numbers by themselves do not tell the whole story. We don't know how many are multiple subs, about to expire, free trials, or being counted on a lot somewhere. That is all I am saying, the numbers without knowledge are less valuable.

UM... I am denying their numbers. BTW, I don't know an article url off the top of my head but I have seen others questions these numbers and so should you... its common sense.

Thanks Charles for being reasonable. I am not a basher. I own a substantial amount of shares in this company. I am only alerting shareholders that I believe the sub numbers are skewed. There is not one person I know who only has a single subscription. Every Sirius subscriber I know including my brother, nephew and myself have more than 2 subs. The thing that really bothers me is that Sirius will not divulge the actual single subscriber count. This should be a concern to every shareholder.

EVERY PERSON i know has 1 sub.

Does that mean that no one else can have multiples? He is not saying that EVERYONE has multiples he is saying a lot of people he knows do... so do I BTW. Be reasonable man.

Some percentage of people own multiple subs... that is fact. All I am saying is figure that into the total numbers. I don't care if you think its 1%... figure something in.

I honestly would not be surprised if the number we over 25%. I am not saying that it is or isn't... I am saying I would not be surprised if it was.

im just pointing out that who u know personally and what they have doesn't matter, we have no way of knowing except for what sirius tells us. The rest is speculation.
