"What a tangled web Trump and Rudy weave when all they do lie and deceive." And why has Rudy Giuliani, a private citizen, been acting on behalf of Donald Trump and negotiating so many shady deals involving foreign countries? Trump and Giuliani will look so adorable in their matching prison uniforms!
Giuliani: Asking Ukrainian prosecutor for money wasn't 'strict conflict,' 'got paid ZERO'
Earlier this year, Trump's personal attorney negotiated contracts with Ukrainian officials worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, according to new reports.

There have been two big crime syndicates in the past 20 years. One is fictional and includes Tony Soprano, Corrado Soprano, Silvio Dante, Paulie Gualteri, Christopher Moltisanti and Sal Bonpensiero. The other is real and includes Trump, Pence, Pompeo, Perry, Mulvaney, Bolton, Giuliani, Nunes, Sondland, Parnas, Fruman, Shokin and Lutsenko.

"Look, last week I wrote on a big tablet, 'I want nothing. No quid pro quo. Tell Zellinsky to do the right thing.' Yes, I misspelled Zelensky's name. I'm an expert at lying, not spelling, okay? Anyway, I wrote those words with the same black Sharpie I used to alter the Hurricane Dorian map. As I told reporters last week, those are the words I instructed Sondland to say to Zelensky, okay? There's no record of the call but that shouldn't be a problem, should it? You believe I made the call, right?"
White House can't find any record of Trump's 'no quid pro quo' phone call to Gordon Sondland
The White House appears to be unable to locate any record of the phone call that Trump has claimed vindicates him.

Donald Trump is a deranged, dishonest, delusional, lying, cheating, bullying, crooked, corrupt, racist con man who abuses the power of his office and disregards the law and the Constitution – but Republicans will never admit it. The Republican party is no longer a political party. It's become a cult of Donald Trump worshipers.

Rep. Dan Kildee said many Republicans in Congress have "tremendous courage" on their way to the House but then somehow leave it behind.

Insisting he did nothing wrong is not a defense. Insisting his call with Zelensky was "perfect" is not a defense. Refusing to allow White House officials to testify is obstruction of Congress. Lying about every aspect of the military-aid-in-exchange-for-dirt-on-Biden scheme is.....well, it's lying. Trump will deal with the impeachment hearing the same way he dealt with the Mueller investigation: call it a hoax, call it a scam, call it a witch hunt and attack Democrats while continuing to insist he's done nothing wrong. Trump knows nothing about the Constitution and nothing about the impeachment process. He is so deranged, demented and delusional, he just can't understand why he is only the fourth President in United States history to face impeachment charges. Welcome to Trumpworld.
Trump's impeachment choice: Defend or deflect
CNN, Nov 30 2019 11:44 AM
President Donald Trump has decried the impeachment inquiry as a hoax and a scam run by Democratic "maniacs" but he now faces a critical choice: whether to legitimize the proceedings by allowing his lawyers to participate or refuse to take part in an inquiry he says is a sham.
The White House has been tight-lipped as it weighs the risks and potential reward of intervening in the House proceedings. House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler, the New York Democrat who will oversee the next phase of the impeachment inquiry in hearings that begin this week, told the White House on Friday that it must give a definitive answer on whether it will participate by 5 PM December 6. Reminding the President of the stakes, Nadler wrote in his Friday letter that the House Intelligence Committee is preparing its report that will describe "a months-long effort in which President Trump again sought foreign interference in our elections for his personal and political benefit at the expense of our national interest" and engaged in "an unprecedented campaign of obstruction in an effort to prevent the Committees from obtaining documentary evidence and testimony."

"Look, this whole impeachment investigation is a hoax and a scam and a witch hunt, okay? I'm being denied due process. I should be able to talk to Shifty Schiff and the witnesses and plead my case, okay?" "All right, Mr. Trump, we're inviting you to our December 4 hearing. You will be able to talk to Adam Schiff and the witnesses and plead your case. What do you say, Mr. Trump?" "No!"
White House will not participate in Judiciary Committee hearing
CNN, Dec 1 2019 7:50 PM ET
Neither President Donald Trump nor his attorneys will participate in Wednesday's House Judiciary Committee impeachment hearing, they said late today. In a letter to Chairman Jerrold Nadler, White House counsel to the President Pat Cipollone said, "We cannot fairly be expected to participate in a hearing while the witnesses are yet to be named and while it remains unclear whether the Judiciary Committee will afford the President a fair process through additional hearings. More importantly, an invitation to an academic discussion with law professors does not begin to provide the President with any semblance of a fair process. Accordingly, under the current circumstances, we do not intend to participate in your Wednesday hearing." Cipollone said they would respond separately to the Friday deadline about their participation in future hearings.

Many years from now, what will today's Republican Congressmen tell their children and grandchildren when they ask, "Why did you refuse to hold President Trump accountable for obstruction of Congress, obstruction of justice, violating the Presidential oath of office and abusing his power by pressuring a foreign country to investigate Joe Biden?" Will they be honest and admit they valued Trump and the Republican party above the Constitution, the rule of law and our nation's best interests? And, if so, will they admit they were wrong to do so? I'm guessing they will not.

Emperor Trump's blindly loyal Republican lackeys plan to defend him by saying Ukraine meddled in our 2016 election (which is not true) and Trump wants to root out corruption (which is not true), so therefore Trump was justified in pressuring Ukraine to investigate corruption (which is not true, especially when we consider the only "corruption" he cared about involved Joe Biden, his likely opponent in 2020). And Trump continues to claim Ukraine has the DNC server. That false story is Russian propaganda – and Trump believes it. Oн доверчивый идиот. The server is in the DNC's office in Washington DC.
The latest defense of Trump is a total scam. Republicans just confirmed it themselves.

Republican Congressmen will never violate their self-imposed policy: "See no evil in Trump, hear no evil about Trump, speak no evil about Trump." All that matters to them is Trump and their party not the Constitution, not the rule of law, not the Presidential oath of office, not the integrity of our elections and not our nation's best interests. The Republicans say Trump did not withhold military aid, nor did he pressure Ukraine to investigate the Bidens. The Republicans are liars. Trump did withhold military aid and Trump did pressure Ukraine to investigate the Bidens. So the Republicans defend the world's biggest liar by lying. That is sad – but not surprising. The blindly loyal members of the Cult of Donald Trump have allowed themselves to be thoroughly brainwashed by the orange-skinned Cult leader.

"If you're our strategic partner, then you can't go blocking anything from us," declared Volodymyr Zelensky today in reference to Trump's withholding of Congressionally-approved military aid. "I think that's just about fairness. It's not about a quid pro quo." Of course the deranged, delusional, orange-skinned dotard immediately went on Twitter and falsely claimed that Zelensky said Trump has done nothing wrong. Zelensky is upset about the withholding of aid and did not say Trump did nothing wrong.
MSNBC today profiled eight politicians who were impeached on bribery charges and removed from office. In some cases, a "quid pro quo" had been stated; in other cases, it was implied. Democrats and Republicans were in agreement that bribery demands impeachment and removal from office – but since Trump has been President, Republicans no longer see anything wrong with bribery, as long as it's committed by a Republican. They've become mindless members of the Cult of Donald Trump.
Zelensky finally makes a statement on quid pro quo. Trump wastes no time distorting it.
