The Caps also beat the defending SC Champs last night. After the drubbing from the Sharks they took on Tues. Looked really solid and Oshie got his first goal with us!

SIRI looking good this morning. Really want to see that 4 handle stick this time...

Wow....we hit 3.99 today already huh? Seems we have a little gap at 3.96 she might go and fill in at some point. We don't need to take down 4 today....if we hover here for next few days premarket am of cc should take care of that 4 wall for us.

Don't forget i believe we still have half of that settlement charge to take this qrtr...think its what 10million dollars?

I think if we hover at the 3.95 area going into cc...we should be able to hit 4.14 area in premarket of cc.

If they are still working through the buy backs then we won't see them blow out the quarter. As soon as they are done with buys backs then they will let it loose or....Liberty will make another offer.

I am thinking if cc is good and it should be...we will get at least a 5% move up then sell the news.

Another anomaly so far is we have not had any ill timed negative siri headlines lately....i.e. lawsuits, etc...knock on wood. A lot can happen in 3 or 4 days tho.

Agree with working the buy backs but they may need to run it up to 4.25+- to shake loose shares from stubborn retail holders then drop it back into the present trend lines and scoop them up.

So on 9/21/15 siri was trading at 3.85 and i posted the following:

Hi guys. Curiosity question. What kind of bump in the SP do you think there would be (if you think there would be one) if news hit that Howard Stern resigned for a few years coincided with next week's earnings report? I have not seen any chatter on his contract in a while and year end is approaching. Apologies if my facts are off. Just curious. Thanks.

With strong earnings and positive HS news we would move up 8-10% pretty quickly IMO

I think dencos %'s are good. Last night when i was researching howards last go around... found out that the news was released in early dec...and that the day the news was released the stock was only up about .07.

I do remember that move DM. I think it spiked a bit more in pre and then settled in a bit. We were trading in the high $1 range at the time I believe. This time around with many headwinds behind us and several years of consecutive growth it should be a bigger catalyst, thus the larger % move in conjunction with a strong CC/earnings.....all hypothetical of course.

EDIT: Strong CC good for 2-4%........HS news good for 4-6%.......ish
