Good points about being on your phone and listening to a game. I used to listen to CNBC when I was working out during lunch. It was nice to be able to listen live to talking heads.

Your best option is to put him on ignore. There is a quote that someone used to describe guys like him. "Don’t argue with idiots because they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience." I hope you figure something out that works for you.
Sounds like the deal of the century....two birds with one stone and all that. Hitting buckets of balls is all well and good and can certainly reinforce muscle memory and help with small adjustments but a good lesson is invaluable...I especially appreciate the GolfTec lessons because of the instant feedback of the swing video. I gotta tell ya, before I saw the video I couldn't understand what the heck I was doing wrong....my swing felt great but the results were awful. Hundreds of buckets of balls were wasted over the years hitting that same swing and getting the same results. What's the definition of insanity?....Doing the same thing over and over and over again and somehow expecting different results! - That was my golf swing (also applies to watching SIRI day after day and Great CC after Great CC and expecting that somehow this time, it'll be different), but one look at that video and it was pretty clear. My swing might have felt smooth but damn it was ugly! I learned more about my swing in a one-hour evaluation at GolfTec than I had in the previous 20 years on the golf range. That's no exaggeration.
I'm planning on taking advantage of this week's special and also buying the 10 lesson package after the weather turns. I believe, like you, that I can probably shave at least a dozen strokes from my game with their help. I can probably also shave 5-6 strokes by practicing my putting.....I think they also have putting clinics and I need a whole lot less three-putts!
Most interested to hear Crockett interview Meyer tomorrow. Not only does Crockett have a $6 target on the stock, he has a theory that Sirius should go global OTT in cars. That was shot down by Meyer on a direct Crockett question 2 earnings calls ago when Meyer said none of the global streamers make money. I hope Crockett pushes the issue again tomorrow, as I have my own theory about Howard going global in cars.
If it looks like a duck and it quacks like a duck it's probably a duck. But if you get tired of the constant quacking just go to up to "settings" at the top of the page and then in settings, along the left hand side under "my account" and "settings" there's an "Edit Ignore list". Just put the quacking duck on the ignore list and instantly your experience here will improve 150%...it's like a golftec lesson for SiriusBuzz! Since nothing of value ever comes from the quacking duck you won't miss out on anything.
I think you are on the right path. The goal is play as much as your wife will let you. Practice, practice, and more practice. Don't forget to have some fun too. Like mentioned before, I was playing golf every Friday with my neighbor. Over time, I notice I was getting better. I remember having one of my best days until I left my Ping wedge on the 12 hole. All I did was worry about that damn club. My game went downhill after that hole. HAHA

The only bad thing is seeing all the "The message is hidden because dm_4 or denco1 is on your ignore list." It can get bad on days like today. All you see are those messages. You just learn to deal with it and scroll right on by them. Now, when you have more than 1 person on ignore, it can get really bad if they are all posting at the same time.
