ook people, I know I said that I would not chase behl but the wheels n my head are turning and I must look at reality. I will first say that I won't chase with new money but after evaluating my positions I had a thought...
I own siri but not alot. 10k shares @.13. I truly believe siri will get to $1 and eventually $4-$5 but that is way down the road a few years IMO. Isn't it a fair question to ask...which company has a better chance of reaching a buck, siri or behl??? With only 10K shares of siri, $1 is not retirement money. So that is my reality check for the evening, any thoughts???
Oh, I just saw my first Exxon commercial talking about growing algae research for energy.
I not telling you what to do but this is what im doing this week with siri...maybe it will work for you and then you can do with you want with your money and at the same time maybe behl will pull back a little by friday and you can either buy back Siri cheaper with in the next few weeks when it retracts or get in behl.......the biggest problem 10k shares isnt alot to work with but you can add more from this plan IF it goes smoothly........
I gonna take 30% of my total siri which is 50k shares......
Tomorrow we are looking for a continued breakout which has started as of last friday...
If we get good volume starting tomorrow morning it will confirm buyers if not then the mm'swill use it for a take down which I have orders to buy more at .42, .40 &.38... if we do get the volume then we should get to between.54 & .56 so I have a sell in at .55 for 50k shares + what ever shares I get in the morning (I think my only real shot is the .42)....then it should retract to about .49 where I will buy back and add 6018 shares on the 50k shares and the order for the 12620 at .42 if I get them...Then tuesday or wednesday I will sell those shares for .64...and if it get to that being that .63 was our last high their will be a massive sell off and should retract back to around .575 where i'll will compound my shares with my profits at that point and then add the balance of my over core which is another 50k shares and then sell them all in premarket or at the latest of 10am depending how the cc goes which starts at 8am somewhere between .68 & .73....if the report is all positive by some chance it continues to go higher I will sell my core another 50k shares but only if its gets between .75 & $1 which I have a pre filled limit order to sell right now at $1....reguardless to how it works out my adv on my core is .31 and my over core is .41 so I will make some money finally with siri... Then I will decide what to do from there....We know it should like most stocks retract up to 40% with in the next few weeks and then I will buy all the shares I can with the money I have accumalated hopefully in the mid to low forties and let some ride maybe trade some on dips untill the
3Q which should be their first positive quarter showing profits for the first time....but beware there is a rumor that they might be positive this quarter and it could go higher but im not letting that stop my game plan....
Thats it....I did not figure this out on my own, its a combo with the Dukes stragety and Ive seen her work her magic before and am a believer in her..Like we are here with Mr.Behl (Ray) Good Luck and remember this is only a educated guess and could be all wrong but I'll will use it and we will the the outcome for sure......and I will be at my laptop making the neccessary adjustments as we go......It might be a little too optomistic but hey its a plan..............Tony:cool:
other than that Im adding another 3mil shares to EVFL tomorrow to bring a total of 5mil shares....the more I read about the company the more I like it.
sworntofun, I think you have a good plan there, but as you can see I don't have alot of shares to play with. I think I'll watch carefully and try to get a feel for where the takedown will start. If it gets to .62 thats 400% and I thnk I should be happy with that I know your suppose to do this with a plan but I'll have to say I'm playing this one by ear. Thaks for the situational insight
atmgeek--
If I were in your situation --and thinking what you are thinking, which I do from time to time-- here's how I would maneuver. Your mileage may vary (YMMV), and this is only a suggestion.
1. You have 10,000 shares of our beloved SIRI @ .13 price ($1,300 initial cost). Those shares are now worth around $4,400, a profit of $3,100.
2. I would sell enough shares to realize that $3,000 profit (about 7,000 shares) and let the remaining 3,000 shares ride as "free" shares.
3. I'd take that $3,000 profit and buy however much BEHL you can get for $2,000 cost at the current asking price.
4. I'd then stick $1,000 in my pocket for the trouble of doing so.
Always pay yourself. Always.
That's my take on it.
Using that method (and the incredible advice and due diligence of others on this board), I have rolled my initial investment in stocks almost 4.0 times the original amount in just a few short months.
Great plan sworn, im sitting on 40k shares avg @ .20. My core of 30k is avg @ .12. I've decided to go long on it all. Might rethink that if we move closer to $1. I haven't been over to the Sirius thread in awhile. I wonder if every still thinks a r/s is still in play?
I've got 5m of evfl right now with a little powder left. What in particular peaked your interest in it?
Hey guys, how are you? I hope that you all had great weekends.
I am going to stick the new week's Daily Market Watch and lock this one, but I won't lock it until tomorrow so you can all keep on posting. It bums me out, but otherwise things just get too big. Just hop on over there when you want.
We had over 12,000 views this week....the biggest yet and it seems that people are comfortable here now. This is a great place and I, personally, enjoy everybody in this thread. You are a bunch of great guys! ;)
I read the siri board a while back in early july, and everyone was waiting for it to hit 0.34 so they could buy, but it bounced of the support line at 0.37 twice. So be on your toes, it seems a lot of folks on that board pick out random numbers by feel. So far siri is pretty good at hitting support and resistance. Just my 2 cents.
Thats cool...but check this out...
if you start with 10k shares which now is worth @.45 per share is $4500
If you sell them @ .55 that is $5500 - 7 for the trade (thats what my comission is) you could buy back.. with $5493 11210 shares @.49..
Then sell them tues or wed @.64 which totals $7174
$7174-$7=$7167 then you can buy them back @.574 you would have 12486 shares then sell them premarket thursday @.65=$8115 thats double of what they are worth now...and if behl pulls back to .08 you got 101437 shares of behl vs the 56250 you can buy now.... you do what you need too...but something to think about....because you can also try to buy the behl shares now and hope it doubles in the next week or so and you would be a the same place but siri 2q report is thursday and you will have to wait another 3 months to get another chance at this trading range.... Good Luck....
Man, I'm beat today - this constant 7 days a week of work is getting too me.
Did someone say that the ASFX products were at walmart. Believe it or not, I try to do some DD, I usually feel I'm limited to the internet. With AAPL, I've seen what they will do for guys like me, we needed 3D stereo to do our work, and even though there maybe only a couple hundred of us that do what I do, they took it seriously and put in the graphics. With DKAM I went out and found their products, and even bought them and handed them out even though I had quit drinking. Likewise, with SIRI, I listened to them after I did my first trade and bought a lifetime membership to bump up their numbers, after my friend bought me the siri stilletto for helping him double his # of shares. So, I went to walmart, and didn't see any of those thermometers. I'm much more comfortable being longer term when I can see and buy the stuff and hand it out. Any of you guys seen the thermometers - or did I imagine they were supposed to be at walmart?
I think I need some food.
The reverse play will only be to keep from getting delisted...which might be suspended for a while again...and from what I hear and see the company is now doing everything to get the stock price to a dollar real soon with out the r/s.... but this week is game time after this week their will be a sell off before the final climb to the $1 so you can make a few shares....good luck Tony:cool:
I still like the ASFX chart and their products though.
Hey Bill, I'm going to try and be more of a contributor on the forum and will be learning how to read charts. Im slowly starting to see what you guys are seeing from the charts that are posted on here, pretty cool stuff.
Hey your boat pics were awesome!!! I spend alot of time on the water and have learned to stay clear of the big boats when there out during an opening, it's a pretty amazing site to see the frenzy of boats with all their gear out scooping up the fish. Tough to navigate in and out of the maze of nets they have out. I stay way clear, wouldn't want to miss with someones livelyhood.

the only thing that I don't like about playing this to pick up additional shares, is the capital gains hit I would take at the end of the year. Do you guys consider the tax ramifications of this strategy? I would think you'd be getting hit by uncle sam everytime you sold at a profit. Do you hold funds back for uncle sam or just play with all of it and let your tax preparer worry about it at the end of the year.
I can only imagine the hit I would take on BEHL, it was only a 500 investment that is now worth 20k. I want to keep it all, but I know if a cashed out, good ole uncle sam is going to want a chunk of it for himself :(
Alaska Guy, beautiful family and great pics.
Unbelievable, the size of those fish! Must be hard fitting them
into your frying pan, lol.
Thanks for sharing.
Julie
Hey Dave, don't get run down now...get some sleep. Did you try Walgreen's?
I think that was one of the places that carry them. I could be wrong...just running off of memory. Maybe I will give them a phone call tomorrow if I remember. I have a couple of hours of work left tomorrow and then I can give it a shot.
I am really diggin' (Calif. surfer talk) the way Tony has this all figured out so well. He has been in SIRI for a long time and knows it inside-out and backwards. He is also very protective of it...so he is a good person to listen to. Nobody is right all of the time with stocks, but he has a good handle on it. Unlike many people here, I got out a long time ago. If it hits .20 again, then I will buy, lol. I just don't have the patience for it. That is why I wandered off and started buying other things. Ray, Tony and Bills "Big Adventure".
I always thought that Ray was a little kooky (just kidding), buying the dog over and over again, but it just goes to show that Mr. BEHL knows what the hell he is doing. Tony does too.
Nobody is right all of the time though. I know that I sure have made some mistakes while thinking I was the "Wiser".
Live, learn and earn...that is what it is all about. The more information and DD, the better things turn out for everybody....A lot of the time.
Good discussion contributes a whole bunch to the success of most everyone involved. I have made it a practice to stay away from group decisions though, as they just are not my style.
Anyway, we are off to another week and I am loving it. I am looking at QASP. ;)
Thanks Julie, it's all about family for me. Yeah it's tough to get them big ones in a frying pan to fit, but we manage somehow, I've got alot of mouths to feed as you've seen! I've enjoyed reading your posts on the other thread, boy they mess with you alot over there huh? It's all in good fun. Kind of like Sean on this side!
Btw, I'm sending out smoked/jarred salmon to those that are interested, send me a pm with your address, I'll get some out to you!

[QUOTE=Alaska Guy;44398]I know what the ramifications are and I do my own taxes. I also play different strategies timewise for different stocks - you have to decide that up front. For me, some are longer term, some aren't. But, if I'm going longer term, and everything about the stock is turning bad, I'm not going to hold it so I can shave a difference in taxes. If you intended to be very long term on BEHL or SIRI, then do so, its pretty dangerous (this has nothing to do with taxes) to decide to start swing trading or day trading stocks that you hold if you don't know the strategies. Currently (and of course this changes day to day) there isn't anything on the radar that I see TA wise to tell me that trouble is brewing for SIRI. BEHL is a penny, so I can't really comment too much on it. SIRI may be in the penny range, but its correlated to the rest of big board market. Also, if you do cash in, then depending on how much you do earn, it may be a good idea to pay estimated taxes. I've paid them before, you can go online, and its a 1 or 2 page .pdf form you fill out. At some point, unless you are planning on holding these forever, in which case 2 things will happen - you will hit the high only one time, cause thats true for every stock, and you won't ever use your money, you will have to pay taxes at some point. Anyway, if you decide short term trading is something you want to add - then you definately have to consider the loss you have due to taxes to make sure that the amount of money you will make from the trade is worth it. Like with my buddy, he wanted to double his shares - that was worth it tax wise cause we were able to do it in one swoop over a few days. Short term trading that will only bring you a 20% gain in shares/$$$ is not worth it, especially if you are wrong and mess it all up, and make a 10% gain, or 5% gain, etc.
