I am with you on that.
I think there is a chance that Mel and co. found a way to save that (.01) per share and overall eps comes in flat 0. Given he and the content manager just got a boatload of options right before earnings report, there has got to be a surprise in here somewhere. Otherwise Mel wouldn't have settled on .43 as the option price. We have been lagging sub .43 for months. He isn't going to sit around at that level.
Just IMHO
uh, oh, headed down
ok. I'll play devil's advocate on # 1.
Yes, there is no real microeconomic news from the company in specific, true.
However, if you are a forward-looking investor, which for me is 2Q's out, there is a veritable slew of positive macroeconomic news that "could" be helping to lift the share price or at least support momentum.
Unless there is surprise bad news in the CC tomorrow, most of what they will report is already well known or reasonably well-anticipated . . I am no longer trading on that news . . I am trading on CFC, CPO, improved economics of new GM deal, housing mkt bottom, improved FICO scores and the Sarah Palin signing as reported here first by Tyler M. Savery!!
I think I'll take down my sell limit of .70 :( I was shooting for the stars on that one.
