Donald Trump's blindly loyal supporters believed his Big Lie of a stolen election and obeyed his command to "march to the Capitol" and "fight like hell." They were willing to fight for him, to kill for him and to die for him. I wonder if any of them had a conscious thought that they would wind up going to prison for him. Probably not.

Thomas, a typical, blindly loyal Trump supporter, continues to believe the 2020 Presidential election was rigged and stolen. Of course it was not, nor is there any evidence that it was – but, hey, Trump said it was. And Trump never lies – except every time he opens his mouth.

Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, met for about four and a half hours today with the House select committee investigating the January 6, 2021 attack on the US Capitol. Democratic Representative Bennie Thompson of Mississippi, who chairs the January 6 committee, told CNN that Thomas answered “some questions” in her interview with the panel and reiterated her belief that the 2020 Presidential election was stolen. Thompson would not divulge what the committee asked about.

In today's public hearing, the January 6 committee presented videotaped depositions of Mike Pence's counsel and chief of staff. Both testified that Trump planned to declare victory on election night, regardless of the results. Committee member Zoe Lofgren revealed, “We also interviewed Brad Parscale, President Trump’s former campaign manager. He told us he understood that President Trump planned as early as July that he would say he won the election, even if he lost." As for this subpoena, we all know Trump will fight it.
