Lowell George co-founded Little Feat in 1969. They disbanded after George died in 1971 but the surviving members reunited in 1987 and continue to perform. Little Feat has released 16 studio albums and 15 live albums. Their hits include Let It Roll, Texas Twister, Hate To Lose Your Lovin' and Rock & Roll Doctor. Barrere was in the band from 1972 to 1979 and from 1987 until his death.
