Good - I have a feeling this week we'll need it.

1. Terrestrial Radio is the obvious competition. Its free. Many use it.
Even some on this board. It is where future subs will come from.
2. Mainstream Media. The Competition is who will form the opinions that stick with the masses. Hopefully Advertising is coming to combat this. I know people that didnt even know it existed for cars until I talked about the company. They would say oh yeah those channels on my TV I dont listen to.
3. Internet radio. Yeah right.
4. Unknown Until we know all areas that SIRI will eventually be in.

Good luck with your efforts. Who knows I guess..but I'm a little skeptical anything will be done. Personally I think it will be nearly impossible to prove those 100sh trades are not just legal shorts. And whenever say if a 500K block jumps in at a lower price, legally, it must be completely filled no matter how it may be tranched up or by whom. This will be their defense. Further ISEG may be the MM effecting the trades but you would also have to know what the order was behind them. Yes, it looks like manipulation (we watched the same things happen for 6 months on teh way down), but even if so, I can't believe they don't have iron clad routing and source proof to back up what they are doing is "ostensibly legal". Further, this same MM activity is present on nearly every stock I've ever watched in L2 (maybe not on such an active level but still there). NITE and others have been fined at various times for front running but that's it. One would assume the SEC would have to monitor trading activity at some level. For such a widely used trading scenario across so many equities, the SEC would have to be derelict in their enforcement of this illegal activity, if not complicit in it. I just don't see it. The other issue you have to remember is the financing hedge with SIRI in particular. There are millions of shares out there lent by SIRI, in the hands of a few entities/their underwriters, who can create just about any activity they desire to keep this stock from doing whatever (given a particular bias). In the absence of real buyers, they will most certainly take the SP out back...which they did during the BK scare. With buyers back, we can see the movement that was created. Or at least, we saw shorts give up on a certain level of commitment to keeping the SP under .30. Look at what happened to FNM Friday. They were up to 1.12 in Pre and crashed hard. My point is it's very easy for shorts to control trading. Whether it be taking an SP out back or just keeping it rangebound. Your efforts are commended but you're up against city hall on this to put it mildly... good luck.
btw..for any future correspondence to other outlets: NITE is the ticker for Knight Capital Group, Inc. (publically traded) and represents their MM business... (Knight Equity is a subsidiary of the Capital Group). I originally said NITE is the ticker for Knight Equity Markets, L.P. MY bad. Again..appreciate your efforts.
Paratrooper Rick.......................... nice buyin on the FNM. Good luck on that. Also............. kudos on the report of market manipulation to the major networks. I never would have thought of that ! And you've done all of the DD and hardwork for their possible HUGE scoop. Now.................... let's see who's in the bag, and who's not !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... killer and the Dog.

I forgot to mention...I always like to obtain revenge on the battlefield rather than through the courts. To that end...you or anyone else might want to take a good look at Knight Capital (NITE) (Same company as in the MM). Take a look at their 1 year chart. They are very spikey, especially intra-tops. They are an easy target for shorting given the right strategy (or making something on them long for that matter)...kind of an eye for an eye. JMHO... :D
OMG, How could you not understand this;
"Wow, well not only have Pandora and Slacker, and internet radio been saying it for years now. But I have been repeating what they themselves have said, when people start to say SIRIXM cant compete with internet radio. Now that Brandon has said it maybe now people will believe it. I only wish you or homer would have said it before so I would not had to for the last 50 times."
First of all, While I thought most knew many internet radio companies said themselves that they are having a hard time now (this was almost 2 years ago) staying in business but if the royalties get raised then they wont be able to stay in business. I thought most knew Pandora (CEO) said themselves that they were going to have to close their doors because they just cant make enough revenue to stay in business. Slacker has said that if royalties to RIMM go up anymore they are going to have a hard time making it. Now I thought most also knew what has happen since then, that royalties went up.
Second, What did Brandon say in the comment before where I put it in a quote above mine. That basically internet radio, Pandora, and Slacker CAN'T compete with SIRIXM, RIGHT. So in my comment towards the end of it I said "Now that Brandon has said it maybe now people will believe it. I only wish you or homer would have said it before so I would not had to for the last 50 times."
Finally you people just prove my point. (I only wish you or homer would have said it before so I would not had to for the last 50 times.) You see because you may not like the way I put things or the way I am. You ether decide to skip the post or do a quick read. So live in darkness, I say that because it was not to much of a stretch when I said "50 times before". (ask cos1000 or killerkaul they know how many times) You would not have been so worried about internet radio if you did. The reason is how could anyone after hearing internet radio and Pandora say themselves, they basically cant compete. Everytime you heard MSM spout out that, internet was going to kill SIRIXM you would already know that was a bunch of crap when they cant even compete with the rising cost of royalties. BTW god help terrestrial radio if they ever really get stuck paying even 50% of what SIRIXM or internet radio pays in royaties, you think they have alot of commercials now. That would truely be the death blow to terrestrial they would be forced to a AM format (mostly talk).
