Great day for SIRI... like the strength. See if it can hold. Fingers crossed!
Edit: For the record, I took Denco off my ignore list. I've always liked Denco despite the recent exchanges we've had.

Waldo, thank you very much for the Sipping Tool reminder. Now I recall from way back in Satwaves days (sorry for bringing up a sore subject) when I religiously used that tool. Now to venture back in my memory cells to review how that played in the scheme of things.
PS. Thanks also for your words of wisdom re. trade clues in SIRI performance.

Okay, here's a P&F chart using the snipping tool to copy and paste into Photoshop Elements, saved to a specified folder, then imported here (I hope). I need to toy with this process a bit more to see if I might shrink the chart info so as to be able to capture more of it in the snippet.
PS. Nice rebound in SIRI so far............I too hope it holds (and moves on up tomorrow).........But, this could develop the triangle referenced by Denco, meaning after 5 columns it could pop in either direction......... take a look in a couple days to see if that possibility is continuing to develop.
Denco, perhaps you can answer a couple of questions re. stock charts for me.
Using www.stockcharts.com, I wish to include Trend Lines on the SIRI P&F but I'm having no luck. I selected "Trend Lines" in the Overlay options at bottom of chart, but it appears the program wants me to add parameters in the two boxes to the right. Have you tried, or have you any suggestions.
I also tried to use another stock option to see if I could add trend lines, but for some reason I cannot display a P&F for any other stock options I try (other than SIRI). Are you able to view P&Fs for other symbols?
Let me know if you think I might be overlooking the obvious.
Heavily loading up more Sirius. Buying into what I think will be stellar earnings (free cash flow per share) and my belief that Howard re-signs in December. $5 within a year..........
Sly, the issues seem to be coming from the box size section. For other stocks depending on the SP, try a .50 or 1.00 box size instead of the SIRI box size of .01. That should bring up the chart. As for the trend lines the chart will automatically add the lines on most P&F charts. For some reason it does not with SIRI at .01 box size. If you change the SIRI box size to .25 or larger you will see the trend lines added. Try a .50 box size on SIRI so you can see both ascending and descending trend lines.

I'm not saying it doesn't work or is somehow suspect....In fact I think there's a lot of validity to them if not for anything else that all the computer models can read the same charts and they might be influenced by that.....same thing with Charting.....I'm just saying I stink at making sense of any of it myself.
Thanks Denco. I guess it's a matter of "win a few, lose the others"......... the larger block sizes render a SIRI chart not granular enough to be useful. I'm happier with granularity at .01 than with meaningless trend lines at .25 or .5. I then saw how block size enables visible charts for other symbols when set large enough.
Thanks again.
Technical analysis can also be used for investing, not just trading. It can help with entry points too. I actually consider fundamental analysis the "foundation" of technical analysis - without fundamentals, the technicals mean nothing.
While I agree DIS is going up, I just might not agree as to when. Good luck with your investment.
Hey Bassman, top of the day to you. Hope your fishing escapades are proving productive. Until this week it has been terribly hot here so I've not even ventured out. Hope to go drown a few new flies real soon. In the meantime, I don't know if I mentioned this previously for you to see, but I recently stumbled upon www.ultimatebass.com which seems to have a wide range of discussion in their forums, including talks of gear, tackle, lures, boats/motors, and geographically focused fishing lies. You might be interested if you've not been there.
