Now-retired Admiral William McRaven oversaw the military operation that killed Osama bin Laden in 2011. He is not a "Hilary Clinton fan" or "Hillary Clinton backer" but that did not stop Donald Trump from leveling those charges against him today on Fox News (aka The Trump Cheerleading Channel) and complaining that we should have killed bin Laden sooner. This is the same Donald Trump who said he didn't consider John McCain to be a war hero because McCain had been "captured." Trump has no respect for anyone.

Over the past few years, Donald Trump has strongly and repeatedly criticized Hillary Clinton for using her personal email account to conduct government business. He calls her "Crooked Hillary," he has said she belongs in prison and he leads crowds at his rallies in chants of "Lock her up! Lock her up!" Well, now we can start calling Trump's daughter "Crooked Ivanka." Lock her up! Lock her up!

US intelligence says Russia meddled in our 2016 election. Vladimir Putin denies it. Trump believes Putin. US intelligence says Mohammed bin Salman ordered the killing of Jamal Kashoggi. Bin Salman denies it. Trump believes bin Salman. I guess all the world's dictators stick together.

Last November, Trump said someone from Time called to tell him he would be the magazine's Person Of The Year. He lied. He did not receive that honor, nor does Time ever notify the honoree ahead of time. Trump also bragged about being on the cover of Time more than anyone else. He lied. He had been on 11 covers; Richard Nixon was on 55. A year has passed. Let's see what the Narcissist In Chief is up to now:

Gabbard's terminology isn't quite as scathing as Kim Jong-Un's assessment of Trump as a "mentally deranged US dotard" -- but it comes close.

Tulsi Gabbard eviscerates Trump as 'Saudi Arabia's bitch'
 NBC News, Nov 21 2018 10:14 AM

Tulsi Gabbard today slammed President Donald Trump as "Saudi Arabia's bitch" in the latest scathing criticism of the commander-in-chief's extraordinary statement this week to stand by the country's rulers despite the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

The Hawaii Democratic congresswoman made the remarks in a brief and blistering tweet. "Hey @realdonaldtrump: being Saudi Arabia's bitch is not 'America First,'" wrote Gabbard, a 37-year-old Iraq War veteran who at various points has been considered a rising star in her party. The tweet was in apparent reference to Trump's exclamation point-filled formal presidential statement Tuesday that his administration would take no actions against Saudi Arabia's rulers regarding the Khashoggi killing — despite NBC News and other reports last week that the CIA concluded that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered Khashoggi's killing.

"It could very well be that the Crown Prince had knowledge of this tragic event — maybe he did and maybe he didn't!" Trump said in the statement, which featured a subheading that read "America First!" In the statement, he also outlined how the US needed Saudi support to help fight terrorism internationally and to help keep oil prices low.

Trump's statement about Khashoggi and broader decision to side with Saudi Arabia over his own intelligence agencies prompted furious criticism from both sides of the aisle. Republican Senator Rand Paul tweeted, "I'm pretty sure this statement is Saudi Arabia First, not America First." Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corke tweeted, "I never thought I'd see the day a White House would moonlight as a public relations firm for the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia."

In a letter published in today's Los Angeles Times, Cy Bolton of Rialto speaks for every American:

"This is a statement for the ages. On the kerfuffle between the White House and CNN's Jim Acosta, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders proclaims, 'There must be decorum in the White House.' Sorry, but there hasn't been decorum in the White House since January 20, 2017."

Clinton gave this interview prior to Trump revoking a reporters' press pass and prior to Trump authorizing troops to use "deadly force" against migrants -- but she certainly presented a 100% accurate assessment of Trump and his racism and bigotry and gave a brilliant description of Fox News as "a wholly owned subsidiary of Trump":

US media must 'get smarter' to tackle Trump, says Hillary Clinton
 The Guardian, Nov 23 2018

Hillary Clinton has criticised the US media over its coverage of Donald Trump, calling on the press to "get smarter" about holding to account a president who is a master of diversion and distraction. In an exclusive interview with the Guardian, Clinton also offered a stinging rebuke of the Republican party’s base, saying it had become enthralled by the president’s "insults and attacks and entertainment and spectacle" and "has collapsed in the face of Trump."

Clinton also criticised Trump’s repeated attacks on the press, behaviour she suggested had echoes of authoritarian and fascist political leaders who erode faith in facts and evidence. She said Trump had proved himself skilled at "tweeting and insulting and dominating the news cycles" and said he was too often left unchallenged by the press. "At some point, the press has to get smarter because that’s basically how most voters get their information," she said, adding that often the quest for "balance" resulted in facts being relegated in favour of opinion.

Clinton said Trump is "quite a student of authoritarian regimes and how they manipulate and control people. He is someone who craves dominance over any situation he finds himself in. He craves adulation, flattery, all of which fit the profile of leaders we can remember from the past." Clinton pointed to research into fascism by former US secretary of state Madeleine Albright. She said the analysis had shown "various populist, rightwing, fascist, authoritarian movements and leaders destroy a common base of fact and evidence, creating an 'alternative reality.'"

"One of the ways you do that is by consistently attacking the press. Trump doesn't attack Fox News because they’re like a wholly owned subsidiary of Trump and the Republican party now. So he attacks the press and the broadcast media that raise questions about him, that don’t give him fidelity and loyalty. You watch Fox News, it’s always, 'Something terrible is about to happen,' 'Something terrible did happen,' 'These people are doing all these awful things.' It is totally divorced from reality but it is superb propaganda. I don’t know the best way to puncture that. You have to hope that reality catches up with politics and entertainment at some point."

She also said Trump has "a strong streak of racism that goes back to his early years. I include his anti-immigrant tirades because he characterises immigrants in very racially derogatory ways but he was Islamophobic, he was anti-women, he really had the whole package of bigotry that he was putting on offer to those who were intrigued and attracted to him. He was, from the very first day of his campaign, raising the spectre of criminal immigrants and the like. So the anti-immigrant piece coupled with things that he said, the kind of people who supported him, former Ku Klux Klan members and the like, the message that we called the dog whistle was incredibly loud. It was: 'I'm on your side because I don’t like the same people you don’t like.'"

Trump claimed there is no foundation for a lawsuit against the Trump Foundation but a judge ruled today there is a foundation for suing the Foundation -- and that is the fault of "Crooked Donald."

New York Supreme Court denies request to dismiss Trump Foundation lawsuit
 CBS News, Nov 23 2018 2:29 PM

New York's highest court has denied a request to dismiss the state attorney general's lawsuit against the Trump Foundation. The New York Supreme Court, in documents made public Friday, denied a request from the defendants — President Trump, Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump and the Donald J. Trump Foundation — to dismiss the lawsuit alleging they used the foundation for private and political gain. New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood welcomed Justice Saliann Scarpulla's decision.

"As we detailed in our petition earlier this year, the Trump Foundation functioned as little more than a checkbook to serve Trump's business and political interests," Underwood said. "There are rules that govern private foundations — and we intend to enforce them, no matter who runs the foundation. We welcome Justice Scarpulla's decision, which allows our suit to move forward."

The lawsuit was filed in June. Underwood hopes to dissolve the foundation and seek $2.8 million in restitution. The suit claims the foundation illegally helped support Trump's campaign by raising money at a nationally televised fundraiser in January 2016 and then allowed campaign staffers to dictate how the funds were spent.

Our nation's Narcissist-In-Chief, whose ego is bigger than our federal deficit, gave thanks today -- for himself.

'Thank You, President T': Trump congratulates himself
The Associated Press, Nov 25 2018

Trump's Florida holiday stay was ending today with a visit to his golf club for the fifth day in a row. His tweeting took no break. The President patted himself on the back for a dip in petroleum prices:

 Donald J. Trump
 @realDonaldTrump
So great that oil prices are falling (thank you President T). Add that, which is like a big Tax Cut, to our other good Economic news. Inflation down (are you listening Fed)!

In a separate tweet, he called on Mexico to stop caravans of Central American migrants from trying to reach the US border.
