The orange-skinned parrot continues to squawk, "Hoak! Witch hunt! No case! Election interference! Hoak! Witch hunt! No case! Election interference! Awwwkkk!!!" And, oh yes, the "scoundrels" from the FBI planted those top-secret documents at Mar-a-Lago.

Donald Trump's trial will be presided over by a pro-trump judge with a pro-Trump jury in a pro-Trump county in a pro-Trump state. There is a saying, "Justice is blind." It means the legal system is objective, impartial and unbiased. In this case, it will not be so.
Trump trial setting could provide conservative jury pool
If Judge Aileen Cannon sticks to her initial decision to hold the trial in Fort Pierce, Florida, the jury would be drawn largely from counties that Donald Trump won handily in his previous campaigns.

It amazes me that so many of Donald Trump's blindly loyal supporters donate money to him. Do they not know he's a billionaire? His net worth is estimated to be $2.53 billion. "Thanks for your money, suckers!"

The names of these 84 witnesses will be made public. That means we can expect many of Donald Trump's blindly loyal supporters to start harassing them and making death threats against them.
Judge in Trump documents case denies special counsel's request to keep list of 84 witnesses under wraps
Federal prosecutors had asked U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon to keep under seal a list of potential witnesses who Trump would be barred from communicating with directly.

Trump said he "declassified" all the official documents he took to Mar-a-Lago. That was a lie. He said the documents belonged to him and not to the National Archives. That was a lie. In June 2022, one of Trump's attorneys told the Department of Justice that there were no more classified documents at Mar-a-Lago. That was a lie. Trump was indicted on 37 counts related to his mishandling of top-secret documents. He pleaded not guilty. His plea equals 37 more lies.
Leaked audio of Trump saying he has a 'secret' document that he knows he can't declassify is 'more damning than indictment,' one expert said

According to Rule 403 of the Federal Rules Of Evidence, "The court may exclude relevant evidence if its probative value is substantially outweighed by a danger of ... unfair prejudice." Donald Trump's sleazy lawyers are likely to ask Judge Aileen Cannon to invoke Rule 403 and not allow the jury to hear the audiotape of Trump bragging about the top-secret documents in his possession. Would she invoke the rule? Keep in mind that Cannon was appointed by Trump in 2020. She is not fair, impartial, unbiased or objective. She is pro-Trump.

"Look, I was talking about Crooked Hillary, okay? I was not talking about myself. Even if I wind up in prison, I will still run for President, okay? My blindly loyal supporters want to see Crooked Hillary and Crooked Biden locked up but they will vote for me again no matter what happens. Covfefe!"

Nauta and other Trump employees helped move boxes of documents from the White House to Mar-a-Lago – and then moved some of the boxes to a storage room prior to the June 2022 search of Mar-a-Lago. Trump's attorney would not allow DOJ and FBI agents to go through the boxes in that room. Two months later, armed with a search warrant, agents found 76 classified documents there. Can you say "obstruction of justice"? I knew you could.
Donald Trump's 'body man' and co-defendant Walt Nauta pleads not guilty in classified documents case
The indictment charges Nauta with six counts of wrongdoing. Prosecutors say the Trump aide played a key role in "hiding and concealing" the records, including some of the nation's sensitive secrets.

Here is the least surprising news story of the day. Gee, if Trump is really as innocent as he claims to be, wouldn't you think he would want a speedy trial?
