From Stephanie Grisham, who praises Trump as if he's a god, to William Barr, who acts as though he's Trump's personal attorney, almost everyone in the Trump White House is a sycophant, a toady and a yes-man. (Those initials spell "sty," an apt description for the Trump White House.) The Secretary of State's blindly loyal devotion to Trump may, ironically, wind up costing him his job.
State Department's confidence in Pompeo plummets
Mike Pompeo's role in impeachment drama has officials concerned that he's putting his relationship with Trump over the Department.

Adam Schiff says the House will begin conducting open impeachment hearings November 13. Republicans continue to insist there's nothing wrong with a Republican President pressuring another country's President to investigate a Democratic political rival. In the Federalist Papers urging ratification of the Constitution, Alexander Hamilton described an impeachable offense as "the abuse or violation of some public trust." For Republicans, obviously, that applies only to Democrats.

Gordon Sondland, Bill Taylor, Mick Mulvaney, Tim Morrison, Laura Cooper, Marie Yovanovitch and many other government officials have given very clear, very specific details of Trump's quid pro quo offer to Ukraine. However, Lindsey Graham – who disregards the facts and whose policy is "See no evil in Trump, hear no evil about Trump, speak no evil about Trump" – has outdone himself in trying to defend the indefensible. Graham now says Trump's Ukraine policy is "incoherent" and therefore Trump just couldn't possibly have arranged a quid pro quo. Wow.
Republicans bend over backward to defend Trump
Senator Lindsey Graham may have just set the bar impossibly high with his defense of the President on charges of a quid pro quo.

Here is one of the rare instances where someone in the Trump administration refused to lie to protect the President:
Trump wanted Attorney General William Barr to hold news conference saying the President broke no laws in call with Ukranian leader

Emperor Trump claimed he wanted to "root out corruption" but the only "corruption" he cares about is any that may involve the Bidens – and, oh yeah, the DNC server that Trump believes Ukraine has (except they don't). Hey, Ukraine, you want to root out corruption? Start with the Trump White House.
Transcript of Bill Taylor's testimony underscores the extreme lengths Trump went to in urging Ukraine to investigate Bidens

Did Ukraine try to "take down Trump" in our 2016 Presidential election? No, absolutely not. But Trump and Giuliani – who cohabit in Trumpworld, the land of delusions – believe otherwise. One of the reasons Trump withheld Congressionally-approved military aid from Ukraine was so he could pressure their government into investigating that (non-existent) election interference.
So.......Ukraine meddled, Russia did not meddle, Obama was born in Kenya, Obama is a Muslim, Antonin Scalia was murdered, Vince Foster was murdered, vaccines cause autism, there is rampant voter fraud, climate change is a hoax, tariffs do not hurt Americans, tax cuts will not benefit the wealthy, Ted Cruz's father helped kill JFK, New Jersey Muslims celebrated on 9/11, Democrats inflated the Hurricane Maria death toll to make Trump "look bad" and the Zelensky phone call was "perfect." For someone who constantly squawks about "fake news," Trump certainly spreads a lot of fake news. A lot.
Trump's obsession with conspiracy theories is helping trap him in the impeachment investigation

Kent said Giuliani's pursuit of a "shadow foreign policy" was "wrong" and undermined US foreign policy in Ukraine. Giuliani refuses to admit he did anything wrong. He says he was just carrying out Trump's orders. Maybe some day Trump and Giuliani will be given matching prison uniforms. That would be nice.
New transcript adds to case against Giuliani
House investigators released the transcript of State Department official George Kent, who says he was told to lie low after raising complaints about Trump's personal attorney.

Bolton, a former national security adviser, failed to show up for an interview with impeachment investigators. He said he wants "a future in Republican politics" and therefore does not want to be viewed as an asset to Democrats. In other words, he's a typical Republican: Trump and the Republican party come first and the Constitution, the rule of law, the Presidential oath of office, our nation's system of checks and balances and the integrity of our elections are unimportant.

Emperor Trump continues to call the impeachment inquiry a "hoax" and continues to attack the whistleblower despite a cease-and-desist letter from the man's legal team. Trump called the whistleblower a "disgrace" – actually, it is Trump who is a disgrace – and said lead attorney Mark Zaid should be tried for treason. Yes, this is the same Emperor Trump who told reporters he's "not concerned" about the impeachment inquiry testimonies. Just another lie.
