You guys ever look at OTC Miller Petrolium (MILL)?? I was reading some posts on yhoo and some speculate that you may be able to judge # from miggle by evaluating the #'s from Miller. Miller themselves seem to be making aquisitions that have made them the biggest in Tennessee.
Here is thier latest pres release. I know, I'm bored and reaching here
Massive Acquisition Activities at Miller Energy Resources Result in 10-K Extension
HUNTSVILLE, Tenn., July 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Miller Petroleum, Inc., dba Miller Energy Resources, (OTC Bulletin Board: MILL) announced today that it has filed an extension of its most recent 10-K due July 29, 2009. The extension was required as a result of the recent acquisition of East Tennessee Consultants, Inc. (ETC) and Ky-Tenn Oil, Inc., (KTO) that has made Miller Energy Resources the largest operator of natural gas and oil wells in Tennessee.
Miller CEO Scott M. Boruff commented that, "The majority of the processes necessary to assure the integration of KTO and ETC into Miller have been completed successfully. The ongoing upgrade of our IT systems, which is being optimized to quickly analyze and integrate our present and upcoming acquisitions, coupled with the integration of two major acquisitions, caused a delay in our filing. We anticipate filing the 10K well in advance of the fifteen days afforded to us and expect completion of our technology upgrades by fall. Our new systems will assure timely filings in the future and are another example of the successful execution of our ambitious business plan going forward."
Boruff added, "The new IT systems at Miller are being developed at our expense to assure complete transparency to our investors of all financial aspects of our $20,000,000 income and $25,500,00 drilling offerings. Our "Investor Portal" will allow for complete and secure comprehensive communication with our investors over the net. Beta testing will be completed in the next week and we go live via Webinar demonstration on August 7, 2009. Our rock solid IT foundation that is close to completion will allow our organization to expand at the rate necessary to become a major player on the energy stage in the upcoming years."

Hey Bill, SSCCQ has had solid volume the past 2 days. Just in case you have not been watching it.
Glad I got out when I did!!!
Republic's bid has it buying all of Frontier Holdings when that company emerges from Chapter 11 protection, which is expected later this year. It also agreed to waive any recovery on its $150 million general unsecured claim. The plan calls for current Frontier shareholders to receive nothing.

Have a good night peoples!!
You too, Billy the butcher!!!
SSCCQ was a great pick that you made, I am still looking around, and don't like the price ranges most of my picks are in right now. They could go either way.
I guess for the commodities, there is a sugar shortage for those who missed that news.
Watching UAUA continue to move north, it will probably pop tomorrow after the FRNTQ news came out.
I think I am going to start from scratch and try and look at this market differently.
I wonder if the Ruskies found their ship that disappeared. How could you lose a ship to pirates and not have GPS installed on it?
Now they are droning around the Atlantic looking for it LOL!!
Have a good one!!!
This is probably a re-post. If so, I am sorry...don't beat me!

That is hilarious about the Ruskie boat!
I caught that on sugar today. It is in a shortage and the price is the highest in over 30 years. People are going nuts over the issue, especially big baking and bread companies. I would imagine that Grape Nut flakes with Raisins is going nuts. They have the equivalent of 5 teaspoons of sugar in each serving. Not to mention M&M's and candy makers and all the other toxic food that is on the market.
It's a real problem!
