It's very disappointing. The stock runs to $4.00 - $4.01 and the sells off. It's been doing this for how long now, since March? It did the same thing back in Jan. 2014 but at least it saw what $4.10 before backing off ?
Edit: If Faulkner is buying at 3.89 - 4.00 and shorting at 4.00 down .10 cents and buying/selling large blocks for both sides of the trade, he probably is doing well. Nice job if he is.

Interesting...looks like more will be throwing their hat into the ring as well over the next year or 2. You would think MaloneCo would be looking in this direction as well with the Charter/Liberty/TWC merger moving forward.

I remember Malone saying in one of the articles in the 90s that he created the biggest cable company, TCI, with one of the greatest stock appreciations of the decade ( if not the greatest) without ever having any earnings per share. It was all about EBITDA. Malone and Mel were certainly on the same page about cash flow and stock buybacks.Quote:

If I wasn't so busy I could of played around with shares I have in my IRS. Cannot take a chance with my other shares for tax purposes. I hope I'm wrong would hate to see I could of double my Siri shares a lot quicker then waiting on Malone and company. I hope we get into $4.00 soon and never look back. Been in since 2002 it's been some ride.
Even though SIRI failed again at the $4 area it did hold this trend line on the daily chart....

Just my personal opinion - We have gone through 3 years of hearing about Apple music's streaming plans and how Sirius' growth is going to be affected because of it. Well Apple music subscription service is now out. This is the first quarter that people have a chance to sign up and Apple announced 11 million trialers already. And my guess is it will have absolutely no impact on Sirius subscription growth at all and we will see the quarterly sub numbers in October. I think with new and used cars the sub numbers will be fantastic. And then there is no argument left from the street.
Investors are going to have to acknowledge that there is a difference between radio and music streaming. They are complementary not competitive, And then we see Sirius rise to fair value.

I'm not sure but I think anyone with an apple anything got a free trial. I know it was loaded on my macbook with the latest update. I don't know how much one can extrapolate from a claim of 11 million free trial subs but I can tell you that I, for one, have not the slightest interest opening the application or using it and certainly will not pay for it when the trial runs out. Frankly, Apple is starting to piss me off with their over reach. First they send me some "free" U2 album in my iTunes and now this.
