.158 man that was a great interview, maffei said subscription based models are doing well and actually growing right now like dt and sirius, it was an amazingly good interview no bad spin!!!!!
-
AH up cause of Maffei on CNBC. Wow. Great little piece and very bullish on the company as a whole. Clearly, Liberty is INVOLVED with this transaction. Hands-on and they want to help grow this company. Great interview and best promo I've EVER heard over Mel or anybody. This guy had it all. We're lucky to have him!!
-
That CNBC pig tried to take the focus off SiriusXM once he started to speak positive about sat radio. This is just further confirmation of the hatred by the media toward sat radio.
-
Maffei said he loves the SiriusXM platform and is committed to helping them grow beyond Cars and into homes,ipods,mp3 and all radio's.He also said they may support free SATRAD with Premium paid content to all radio's..very interesting concept...He explained the Debt structure well and talked about the Expense for growth was already spent and he beleived it was relatively cheap to add customers with this platform..All positive i beleive..

Another cool little bit was his enthusiasm about growing the SIRI sub base seemingly by cross pollinating with Direct subs. There's a boatlead of potential new subs right there. Believe me, 40% of this company was well worth it. We now have a true advocate other than Mel. I love Mel, but Mel could never do what this guy just did in about 5 minutes time. Maria kept pounding the "more capital" angle and he beat her down everytime. Great spin and optimism.
