Taxes and expenses are everything. Dig this....my wife works for an international corporation. They were in Oakland, California. They just re-located to Arizona, because California was draining them. I think Vegas has their thinking caps on by offering a situation godzillions of times better to corporations. California is radically pissed off now, but....oh well.Quote:

I've been revisiting (in my mind) the time that I forget to send in my business tax payment...
I don't remember how much it was but it was a helluva lot more penalty than the measly 3% their offering as a consulation for having to wait so long!
Anyway...We've been househunting for the past nine months. California won't have to worry about us for much longer.
***we're heading to Chicago (North Shore). Yes, the property taxes are double but the school system is far superior than what we have here - that is, unless I want to drive my kid 20 miles 2x per day to go to school with kids that he'd only see them at school.
And we also have a lot of family in Chicago.
But anyway...I stopped watching Ahnold years ago & really don't like being forced to *watch* him again.
