Good tip! I need something like that. It would avoid higher commissions also. Thanks JMM!

i think freddie and fannie are the worst two picks out of all the financials, simply because they have become the poster boy of the financial mess, if u rmember the election, it was like everyday id hear mccain bring up the fannie and freddies of the world. Not saying you cant make a buck with them but i would wait cause i dont think they will pop like all the other financials will at the end of the credit crisis. I could be wrong though, but i wouldnt get into them right now thats for sure id wait it out and watch the stock for awhile.

AIG in talks with US on guarantees-Wall St Journal

WASHINGTON, Jan 31 (Reuters) - American International Group (AIG.N), the insurer rescued from collapse by the government in September, is in discussions with Washington about a federal backstop for some of its assets, The Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday.
AIG is also considering selling units through public offerings, the newspaper reported, citing an interview with AIG Vice Chairman Paula Reynolds.
"We're looking at a broader array of recapitalization options," Reynolds said.
"We both realize that the environment's changing and we have to adjust to that environment," she said, referring to the federal government.
Backstopping the insurer's assets would be similar to guarantees the government provided for assets belonging to Citigroup (C.N) and Bank of America (BAC.N), the Journal reported.
"We are consulting closely with the U.S. government in conjunction with our restructuring," AIG spokeswoman Christina Pretto told Reuters.
Officials at the Treasury Department and Federal Reserve did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The government rescued AIG in September with a loan from the Federal Reserve, as the insurer faced a cash crunch from losses on securities tied to mortgages. AIG has also received a capital infusion from the Treasury Department's Troubled Asset Relief Program. Just kidding. I'm with Bill..my picture will cost you at least 1 LCD screen. when the 1st one blows, you'll say no one can be that ugly..So you will go to another computer and damn same thing happens.
AIG will probably pop pretty good Monday am with govt news. If they can secure govt backing for toxic assets...Maybe good long term play.
Alan Combes

Reading...catching up
Equivalent to a bottle of good straight bourbon whiskey. Maker's Mark. Cheaper than a stack of DVD's; Ya, that is why just minutes in this market are so critical. If a guy doesn't have the time then kick back or he could lose. I can imagine playing CTIC was tense enough just being there watching it!
It is a great rush for me trying to beat the odds with a fast moving stock.
Oh, by the way, Ray, lol, did you happen to hear that LVLT is coming out with its financials on the 11th? ;) ;)
I think there could be a pop there.....haha
I think the further you are away from them, the better, but I will keep on reading here about it. BUT, poster child anything can turn into a gold mine because people stay away from them and all the smart people buy in and all the critics lose because it is too late. (just initial thoughts)
Damn, one of those suave looking Sylvester Stallone or Bobby Darin types!
No wonder you wanted to be a move star. I am more like the hayseed side-kick for Roy Rogers.
Silcilian....not part of the brotherhood are you? Never mind, don't ask, don't tell. (Deleting all my home addresses) lol
If you want to read something, which I thought was funny, read Tripp's message to Sirius Buzz in the Sirius Buzz thread. Cracked me up!
