Evolution Fuels, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EVFL) (the "Company") today announced that it expects to complete the accounting activity toward finalizing its financial reports for the second quarter of 2009 over the course of next week. Accordingly, the Company's management expects to publish these financial statements by August 28, 2009.
Once published, the Company expects to achieve full compliance to meet the requirements for the Pink Sheets' highest tier, "Current Information."
The Company anticipates that the financial statements will reflect net income in excess of $12 million for the six-month period ending June 30, 2009, primarily as a result of further reductions of debt and the elimination of certain contingent liabilities.

I plan to write an article for Stocks and Commodities magazine. They are looking for writers/traders and I have this new strategy involving stocks and the E-mini SPY future as a hedge.
You'll hear about it here first:
My idea is that if I am long several stocks and/or call options, to hedge, instead of using puts and or individual stop losses, I will place a sell stop limit order on the E-mini SPY future contract for October or November. My stop limit order will be below the current E-mini SPY futures price by 3%-4% (the e-mini is currently at 1029 so the stop order will be triggered @ 999 to go short @ 984).
The idea here is not to short the market until I really need to short it. This strategy is quite different from buying puts for protection, shorting the SPY or placing individual stop orders because I will only be on one side of the market.... The risk here is that, the market pulls 4.1%, triggers my stop/limit order and then turns around.
This strategy works best when you have at least 10% or more of unrealized gains in your long positions.
Of course I will need to elaborate more for the article but the basic idea is to make money both ways, up and down, and at the same time be protected.
