thats alot of money so was there like 100 players? in the 5k one
around 200
bcle is so quiet :/ i wonder if its going to jump up again at the end of the day.
when you see big gains like ex. BEHL where it went up in one day, does that ususally happen at the end of the day?
I think there is a mark on all of my stock accounts because every time I buy a stock it goes down. If you want to make a quick flip follow my buys, wait for the dip and when I sale and take my loss, watch for the upticks :D
lol same thing with me, the week i bought my first shares, outta no where BOOM down 50% all i see is red bars (nasdaq.com charts)
but its ok.
do you ever sell at a loss?
man i'm playing the most frusterating game.

after like 20+ levels its getting annoyinggg, but i g2 beat it lol
Yes...I have taken some losses. My first trade was SIRI when it peaked at .61 :( after falling to the low of this year. I took a loss on that so I could free up cash to trade others. Ive read that some losses you just have to take in order to have a chance to make your money back elsewhere.
Ok - any opinions on this one? I bought calls on AAPL 2 days ago, I'm just shy of a 100% gain. It's a short squeeze today, but earnings are AMC on Tuesday. The strike is $155, and the price is currently $151.50 - so if it hits the strike, the % gain will get some extra oomph. The Nasdaq is approaching overhead gap resistance... so a good report by them, could bring it to the top. SP500 is also approaching resistance. But, all the indexes are putting in reversal candles today.
So, sell at end of day, or hold?
Either way, I'm happy, but around the 13th, I put an options strangle on AAPL for this expiration.. which is ultra risky. I didn't like the candle the following day, so I sold for about enough gain to buy some gas. Today, it would have been a 600% gain, haha - I paid so little for the contracts, that I'm not sure why I sold it, other then was tired from work.
Well, I'm going to bail to work, so it's pushing to get the close, but just wanted to see what you penny guys have to say - note, if I hold, I will cash out on any real signs of weakness.
Sean, what's your call? Promo - I bet your saying hold.
lol thats not even english to me
i would love to offer an opnion dr dave but i have absolutely zero experience in options strategies.
Ok - how bout this - cash out now for a decent gain, or hold out a day or two hoping apple investors will get excited for the upcoming earnings report and possibly bump up the price $3.50?
or rather, get out with a decent guaranteed gain, or hold out for a little more?
I'm counting on you Sean.
(Even if it does turn down, I feel from my experience, I have enough gain to get out for enough to at least fill up my truck again)
why did the blonde stare at the orange juice?
ooo thats a tuff call, i'd take the decent gain and get more of mglg if it hits .0004-0003
buttt, the reason i joined the stock market and risked alot was to make big gains.....
GO BIG!
hold it, final answer regis
because bill's not here.... i'll type it lol i always wanted to.
P O W E R H O U R ! !
MGLG Vol: 199,377,860
BCLE VOL:728,700
IFSL VOL: 28,807,249
ARTI Vol: 12,028,353
lets see what happens
Hi Team!
Question:
Does anyone else analyze the IFSL chart as a cup and handle??
I know a true CnH should take around 3 months and IFSLs chart only has 1 month for the formation. Also there is a pps spike inside the cup.
But other than that is seema an awful lot like a cup and handle.
Dr. Dave, you seem to be our resident TA expert. What would you say about it?
Sean, this is a good opp for you to look up 'cup and handle formation"
Anyone watching CIT today?
Like a rubber ball ... Shoulda woulda coulda - Thought about it earlier when it was around .50 ... checked back later and it was .90 .. Like a game of chicken right now ...
Not for the faint hearted
holy smokes 1more hour of work!!
would you guys say that companies hire more towards the fall over the summer (because everyones on vacation etc.)
Ok, so I just read an interesting post on the IFSL forum at the spoke...
It's not about pumping IFSL...
The poster (dan888) stated that he always bashes a stock on its forum BEFORE HE BUYS.
He does this to ensure that the posters there can back up the stock with at least 75% evidence.
And he says he uses this as a type of speed DD.
HMM, interesting DD strategy. What do you scholars think of it?
It doesn't look like I missed a hell of a lot today. I just went over the charts and it seems to be very lateral.

I have dry powder in my account now, so I am going to start fishing this weekend and see what I can come up with.
BCLE and MGLG are doing just fine. SIRI's chart looks like a fly buzzing around. BEHL is pretty much sideways also.
All this doesn't make for much discussion, but I will find some things to talk about this weekend and tonight. ;)
