There have been so many shootings this year, the Retrumplicans seem to have gotten tired of offering their meaningless "thoughts and prayers" for the victims. And of course the Retrumplicans refuse to consider any legislation to ban assault weapons and high-capacity ammo magazines and impose stronger background checks for gun purchases. They have also passed legislation in 26 states allowing people to carry a concealed handgun in public without a permit. Yeah, that doesn't really make me feel more safe.
