With the resignation what effect will, if any, it have on the stock itself over the long run?
Looks like Sirius continues to trade outside the normal parameters of the rest of the market as usual. If we close even at .46 with the rest of the market in the crapper today, I would guess that we can expect a very strong day tomorrow.
Monday. And I agree. Every close over .44 is a good close. We are building the base higher now. But Tyler is right. Double edged sword. We need to book higher highs, and break .50, before the CC run up. That would open the .60s before the CC,and past if they have a good one("good" being extremely subjective with this company, and how the MSM, and analysts handle them), so be careful what you consider good, might not be what others consider good. "good" to me means matching earnings estimates, meeting EBITA pace, and reporting a sub loss of under 100k. Keeping churn near where it was, and at least keeping SAC the same as last quarter and ARPU(although if these improve, it would reflect in their earnings.. soo...) Tit for tat, i suppose. EBITA will show the overall strength of the quarter just fine. Revenue... etc...
has a cc been announced yet for q2?
He is talking about the point about shares being used for paying off employees. If you recall we argued about this the last time SIRI was asking for the increase back in Dec. I said part of the reason was as Mel said that they dont even have enough shares to use as pay incentives.

"We've seen SIRIUS XM grow from a small start-up to one of the largest radio companies in the world," said Arnold Friedman, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Space Systems/Loral. "Having built all of the satellites in the SIRIUS fleet, we appreciate their continued trust and the way they have pushed us to new levels of capability and success, with some of the world's highest-power satellites."
SIRIUS FM-5 will be the highest-powered satellite in the SIRIUS fleet, with end-of-life power capability of nearly 20 kilowatts. It has a nine-meter unfurlable reflector, built by Harris Corporation, which allows for broadcast to cars and other small mobile devices. The satellite is based on SS/L's 1300 space-proven platform, which provides the flexibility to support a broad range of applications and technology advances.

Yes, John, I know, I was being facetious. If he didnt know why I was bring up that "old" news, then I cant help him. I was obviously from my last post trying to find any wordage to how those shares were supposed to be used. But I didnt recall ever reading anything official on it. Im fine with Mel having a reason to raise the stock price. Now Liberty, Malone, his sidekick, and all insiders have millions of reasons now, since all the filings have come in from Jan till now. Before, I could argue otherwise. Insiders did not have enough interest. Now I would disagree with that, I think they do. Add Malone too, and he wants this pig to fly to raise the value of his preferred holdings.
