Agree with Romo,John,Tripp it is wound tight and i think the company is starting to get in the good news issueing mode as it is ripe for the start of what believe is their plan being put into motion.
John,the good thing about I-Phone app is they should be able to give monthly PR's on how many Subs they add with it as their is no promo associated with it,Well at least i hope they do...It better have an easy sub process to get it..

Well, I bought a few thousand more today at .327............I can't see us getting too much lower than that before the .Q2 numbers and iPhone deal comes out.

Maybe this answers my own question. Are institutions buying here. Yes they are, and why were not moving up. When big money wants to buy, we all know what that means. Hope they finish soon. Either way, it will move on repressed buying pressure, or Iphone app release, or a combo of both. Will it hold the gains? I guess only if the institutions buying are done for now, and if the 2014 hedge doesnt decide to go for round 28!!:D

this is a great point, we should be able to have download numbers, sign up numbers etc on a regular basis, and imo separate it from the oem's and even from quarterly reports...make this an investor relations fodder...

I understand that this is a bad economy and the company almost went into bk but I am convinced that the operating budget of the marketing dept had to have been slashed. If I read correctly, boats are coming with SXM, Toyota has cut a new deal and the iphone app is on the cusp of being released and all you hear are crickets. There should be a campaign blitz showing strength and vigor after the Liberty bailout. It takes spending money to make money. The only campaigning I see is for the hardware not the services.
I don't believe this phone call ever happened. It is remotely conceivable that this poorly written text was a draft of an email that was being held at the ready for when Sirius XM actually made an announcement. I don't believe any "customer service" person would make any such statement over the phone before the company issued a public announcement about it.
Yes, it is possible that Sirius XM will make a public announcement today or any day after today, but the phone call doesn't sound real.
Let's hope to hear a real announcement, with wonderful publicity and great consumer receptivity very soon - then maybe we can all exhale!

That email/phone call is a fake. I emailed IR and asked them if they have any knowledge and they replied that they do not and their have been no recent updates about the release date, email and ask yourself if you must.

However, are you sure of your sources? Doesn't it seem very odd that Customer Service would send out such claims before Sirius XM made a general announcement to the public. Wouldn't customer service send out a response more to the effect of "Thank you for your inquiry. As you know, Mel Karmazin has announced that Sirius XM will soon be available on the iPhone. Please keep posted for announcement of this wonderful applicable we are all looking forward to."
Like I said, even though it does not seem logical to me that Customer Service would be making such statements, I know you are honorable and I hope your sources are telling you the truth.
