Buy Starkwood!!(SKWD) This company just obtained a new bio-weapon and the pps will soar once they carry out an attack!!! The CEO Jon Voight, is great!! And he has the company headed in the right direction!!! As long as the government doesn't seize control of the company and dilute the shareholders!! Go long!!!
Back up the truck!!!!

Lottery ticket stock!!!
OK, enough jokes!! Yeah, I saw FREE today Bill, it will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow.

Crude is going up in global markets, so we will see.
Later!!!
As far as FREE and the dry shipping stocks....they all sucked today....even DRYS ended up with a +.11 gain or +.14...don't remember. DRYS was one of the top gaining stocks today, believe it or not!
I was shocked when I looked. Maybe the market will be in a better mood tomorrow.....It was basically sideways.....just waiting for something good or bad....not exciting at all. I went and did some plumbing today and tomorrow I have to go do some plumbing, then on Thursday and Friday I have to replace a bathroom floor, so I won't be around much.
I am starting to get busy......I will email you tomorrow...I am tired like you tonight.
Have a great one,
Bill

No worries!!! :)
Yeah, not liking the market at all this week. Monday was exciting, then it just fizzled out.
ESLR really performed well last week, seems like a lot of stocks are trying to find new ranges of late.
I want to go into gas/oil, but not enough money to make it worth while, plus no one knows if cap n trade will go through. Or should I call it, tax n redistribute?
Well I am beat, been running around getting things done!! Have a good one everybody!!! :)
Your CNO broke through a buck, damn that would have been a nice white knuckle ride!!
ELI, I don't follow pharma sector at all, I would call in the number on the link here and see what they are yapping about, if you have not yet already. Clearly it caused the run up on March 24th.

Anyone have any good nuggets on GSX???
Thanks in advance!! later,
I've been watching XTLB for the past 6 months. It started at .14 back then and dropped to hang out between .06-.09 for quite awhile. Over the past week or so it has crept up to hang btween .14-.16.
No news in the past week, no press releases since March 18, and those made the price rise.
I closed today at .14 but in AH trading dropped to .021!!!!!!!
TWO CENTS??!! This one has me wondering. Cant find any news on why it dropped. Can you guys?? If no news is found, is that reason to buy?? If it dropped on no news it will go back up quickly so I was hoping for responses quickly.
I'm not currently invested in it but would love to catch this one on the way up if possible, but dont want to get suckered for a high percentage of my buy-in on this one.
Advice please???
lvlt broke the 1.00 barrier this morning.
phew, back up again....
Just an update on TRN....last week I waited it down from 10.40 and got in at 10.001 although I felt it might kick down to 8.35 ish. Monday i think it dropped to 8.88 with everything else, but today is back over 10.50.
have a nice ride up the green mountain everyone...
New Shareholder Letter released: http://www.trin.net/
There were also 4,000shares of insider buys yesterday.Quote:
Our 2008 results reflect a number of key strategic initiatives that we implemented during the past
few years designed to support our vision of becoming a premier, multi-industry growth company.
The progress we have made in diversifying our company, coupled with our highly flexible and
cost-effective manufacturing platforms, sizable backlogs, cross-business unit synergies, and strong
liquidity, contributed to our success. Revenues for the year surpassed our 2007 record, reaching
$3.88 billion. Our increase in revenues over 2007 was led by 46% growth in the Energy Equipment
Group ($199 million), 8% growth in the Rail Group ($182 million), and 27% growth in the Inland
Barge Group ($132 million). Our operating margin increased from 13% to 14% and earnings per
common diluted share from continuing operations decreased by 1% to $3.61. The reported, company-
wide backlog of our rail, barge, and wind towers businesses totaled more than $2.6 billion at
the end of 2008. Historically, Trinity has demonstrated its staying power and strengthened its
competitive position during down cycles, in part by taking advantage of investment opportunities
such as undervalued acquisitions and organic growth. We are monitoring opportunities while simultaneously
keeping a close eye on the economy and our cost

Dumped AIB today on the huge spike at $2.95, taking only a couple dollars lost (all on commission). Should have held out for a few more pennies, but Im cool with it. That is what happens when you cannot be at your computer actively trading.
Now I've got a bit of cash to play with next week.
yeah newman i almost pulled the trigger on aib while it was way down there i wish i had instead of C
Hey, trade the following spread:
Sell the SPY 84 April 09 Call
Buy the SPY 85 April 09 Call
Credit: 0.40 cents
Risk: 0.60 cents
The S&P will not break the 840-850 before April 17th.
How many contracts ? Depends on your capital and your appetite for risk.
I have $50K of play money so I risk no more than $1K per play (about 16 contracts).
Gute natch...
