We have a President who does not believe in the First Amendment and who continually denounces the news media as "fake" and "the enemy of the American people." His poisonous hatred and contempt have trickled down to his blindly loyal supporters. This story is extremely alarming and frightening. Today, more than ever, we need a strong free press.

On the day of the shooting, Ramos mailed three letters detailing his plans -- but what was his reason? The letters wouldn't be delivered until after the rampage took place. It is truly frightening how evil and murderous certain people can be.

Yes, the killer is still being referred to as merely a "suspect." His murderous hatred began when the newspaper printed a story about him pleading guilty to harassment. He carried out a death penalty on five journalists. He should be given the death penalty as well.
