The complaining about accountants is camoflauge and an ideological avoidance of the facts.

To wit:

No complaints of others, except the poor, getting unnecessary tax breaks. Hell, repukes say tax cuts cure cancer, so what is the problem? He believes it.

A belittling of billions in corporate subsidies as 'every company gets these; or it's ONLY 4 billion. Worry about the big stuff'. No awareness that the most profitable companies in the history of the world DON'T NEED SUBSIDIES. WTF!

So only a few billion here and there is chump change? Change doesn't make dollars - only dollars make dollars apparently. What a stupid attitude. Apparently, those 'few dollars' wouldn't help reduce the deficit, which by the way, is not the problem people think it is. It is being made to look that way by those that are using it to reduce programs they don't like. Period.

No complaints or demands for MAJOR defense cuts. (I forgot. Corporations supply weapons. Jobs. Never mind.)

No request to stop the wars. TRILLIONS spent - FOR NOTHING. DEBT IS CREATED. Oh, I forgot again. Oil and America's need to kick ass. Never mind. Forget THAT debt. And its effects on our economy.

No complaints of the repukes only focusing on tax breaks for those ABOVE him and for cuts to the support programs millions rely on, in many cases, TO LIVE.

No support for government investment to get the economy moving because we have a deficit and debt and bills and EVERYTHING. No understanding that whatever money is invested WISELY will come back to help the economy.

No understanding of basic economics as to the point just above and to the fact that housing is keeping the economy from improving faster - which would help him and EVERBODY. The government program's effects, apparently, are abysmal and unhelpful. No calls by him to fix this. No calls for the banks to get their f'd up activities FIXED. People are hurting NOW! Just complaints about how government F's everything up.

No complaints about the banks who are foreclosing, in many cases, illegally and unethically on owners who have been working with them to remedy their indebtedness. These people probably have it coming, right?

No interest in sourcing other views, except perhaps, Krugman, to get a more varied perspective. Nooo, just keep believing Austrian (debunked in essence) is the only way.

Complain about any government attempt to fix anything (many, of course, don't always help) but don't read to learn how to tell the difference. And always complain that anyone who is liberal has an 'agenda'. Liberals are the enemy. Liberals always screw things up. Liberals are always ideologues. Liberals try to control everything. Liberals are out to ruin the country. Liberals never understand what is REALLY important. Liberals hate our freedoms. And, the number one reason you can't trust a liberal - liberals are stupid not like conservatives. (see Puke Watch)

I know you pay attention. I want to pay less taxes myself so I have more to spend, and more to save. Why is that problematic to you? I'm not talking about you, or Lloyd, or anyone for that matter. My personal observation is that I (we) pay a lot of tax, and I would like to pay less (without a tax accountant).

$4 billion isn't a lot. Let's look at it from this perspective. It has been noted that the US federal government spends $6.85 MM per minute. That makes 584 minutes. There are 60 minutes in one hour; hence $4 billion is 9.73 hours, or roughly one working day. One working day? Let's check the amount of energy put into "big oil". First, Congressional democrats call oil exec's to Washington to testify. That's a day in of in itself. I know you think this is good as calling people to Washington is stimulative - these execs need airline tickets, hotel rooms... heck they may even have gone out and bought some new suits... News crews are dispatched..... but I digress. Then congress goes into session and waste's another day or two crafting legislation to repeal the tax breaks all corporations get, but only for "big oil". How many days have passed? See what I'm saying? Nothing to do with democrats or republicans.........

Now I will agree that many companies are very profitable without any tax breaks. Candidly, "big oil" would still be very profitable. I'm all for tax reform. Enough policy making through the tax code. The tax code should focus on delivering revenue to the government simply and painlessly. But this whole "big oil" issue is just a grand act of politics. Politicians don't want to fix anything because that might be unfavorable for them getting and staying elected.

Now on to more interesting subjects - CA communities making circumcision a crime? WTF? Boeing builds a new factory and it's set to open, but it can't? WTF?

'Patriotic Millionaires' Describe What They've Done With Their Bush Tax Cuts: 'I Built A Dance Floor In My House'

WASHINGTON -- Paul Egerman isn't certain how many millions he's saved from the tax cuts enacted during the George W. Bush administration in the early 2000s and extended by President Barack Obama in December of last year.

"I do not know how much I've saved over 10 years but I'm sure it is several million dollars -- probably in excess of $10 million," said Egerman, founder of a medical transcription company called eScription.

And what, HuffPost asked, have you done with all that cash?

"I've kept it," he said. "I have not done anything with that money."

Egerman is part of a gang of self-described Patriotic Millionaires who wish the federal government would help itself to more of their money to address its big budget deficits. Nearly 200 millionaires have signed a letter asking congressional Republicans to consider healing budget gaps with increased revenue -- in particular, higher taxes on millionaires -- instead of just reduced spending.

The group is coordinated by the Agenda Project, a New York think tank, and Wealth for the Common Good, a network of business leaders and wealthy people that promotes "fair and adequate taxation" to support the economy.

Other millionaires on a conference call Monday morning said they had more fun with their extra money than Egerman did.

"I probably traveled a little bit more than I otherwise would have," said Frank Patitucci, CEO ofNuCompass Mobility Services, a company that offers relocation management services.

"I got a bigger boat than I used to have," said Dennis Mehiel, the founder and chairman of cardboard box manufacturer U.S. Corrugated, Inc. He lamented that the construction of his 150-foot sloop didn't create any jobs for American workers. "The problem is, it was built in Italy."

Dal LaMagna, founder of Tweezerman, said he used his extra money to help the local economy in by adding stuff to his house in the Pacific Northwest.

"I just started creating jobs myself. I built a dance floor in my house -- which I really didn't need," LaMagna said, adding that he also put in a parking lot. "I just became a Dal LaMagna economic stimulus package in Poulsbo, Washington."

Damn, I'm reading this, and something occured to me.

All that money has been put to good use.

One guy saved it. I'd like to save more myself. Savings increases liquidity. Those deposits can be loaned out by banks for others to build productive assets and improve the quality of life for many.

Another guy built a dance floor. Someone had to install it, and taxes were generated from the purchase and installation. Heck, he even acknowledged it.

The other guy bought a bigger boat. Good. He'll use more fuel which is taxed. He'll need more maintenance. Someone will get paid, and taxed. Items will be bought and sold creating more tax revenue. And unless he tried to do what Kerry did, he paid a bunch of tax on the purchase alone.

More hypocracy comes into play when you think about how much Hava-gafa-kasha bitches about "big oil" when he plays the very game they do (i.e. take as many deductions as possible).

At least you keep your mouth shut. Kudos.
