P.S. i like that phrase the "efficacy of gov't" So general and
easy to fit a lot of beliefs under that phrase. I mean for
gods sake EVERYONE believes in the efficacy of gov't.

Anyway, I did watch the video. It was very good. Much of what he said plays into what I've said.
Regarding the "Bush Tax Cuts" he noted that it was $300 B revenue needed to pay for government. I loved his remarks on what the government is and how it hasn't changed over time (specifically the worlds police force....). The alternative is changing the government.
I am fine with a needs testing for Medicare and SS, but it is unfair to pay into something and get absolutely nothing in return.
Clearly he is a free marketer. Do you agree with his postion on TARP, QE2, and governments role in housing?
Regarding the republican agenda, anything to do with God is off the table for me. Period. Social issues are not my issues (gay marriage, abortion........). Candidly, I am for "don't ask don't tell". There is a reason boys and girls are separated in many situations - sexual attraction. I'm assuming sexual attraction works the same way for homosexuals. I wouldn't want to be put in a position where I was exposed to sexual attraction when I didn't want to be. I've spent too much time on that one, but thought it needed some explanation.
